Her family is shaming her if she doesn’t stay with him, she had no one to turn to. And even if she wanted to be with him and lead him on, cheating on him doesn’t mean he can hit her and sexually assault her. It’s not love, she’s forced to find love for him because otherwise she’ll lose her whole family

I think most of turkish dramas I've watched they did show violence against women and I guess it's just sad that we romanticize violence and pain. Her opinion is always dismissed as not important enough. and she is forced to sacrifice her wants and free will for the sake of her children and everyone else in the family. There is not a single drama where the girl doesn’t get slapped and that’s only the light suffering she endures.
I have a neighbor like this they had 2 sons but the woman realized how toxic they have relying on the man's love they broke up 5 years after.
