    You add CSS grid to that and global classes and... Bricks will be the new star. It's really very well thought through.

    Bricks certainly has great potential. Very impressed to see the developer listening to users and implementing changes and improvements from feedback. So glad I took advantage of the lifetime deal! 👍😃

    6:57 Just an idea for the display:none - make the icon clickable to de-/activate it.

      Definitely, I had the same thought while I recorded the video. Will add it to RC2.

      @@ehrig Great! I'm looking forward to 1.2 or the implementation of grids to start my first test website with bricks. Curious to see where bricks goes - looks amazing so far.

      Yeah good idea. But be able to conditionally hide the elements also depending on view port etc, but also make it so they're not simply hidden, but they don't even render on the front end at all (not simply display:none;)

    Thanks for the update. I am still missing column options, like set them to stack horizontal and vertical in particular devices and invert them on mobile.

    • @ehrig
      @ehrig 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can use the container "Direction" control to define the direction of its containing elements for any breakpoint. Available options: Horizontal, vertical, horizontal reverse, and vertical reverse ;)

    Bricks looks like it has great potential, I've signed up for the lifetime licence, (great value). It would be awesome if Bricks offered Flexbox and CSS grid as Oxygen does (I have an Oxygen licence too.)

    Incredible stuff! This container element makes Bricks a serious contender. Are global CSS classes in the pipeline?

    Yep. Being a oxygen user this changes the game for me. I can really start building with this builder now. Glad I went lifetime with this. When is this released?

    • @ehrig
      @ehrig 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      We'll go through two or three more release candidates in the coming days according to feedback, and hopefully be able to release 1.2 in the next 10 days.

    Dear Thomas Ehrig. I know you're a very busy man working day and night on your project Bricks. And it is very impressive what you have achieved in such a short time. But as a fairly ordinary user of Wordpress / builders, I must confess that I have come to doubt whether Bricks is for me a regular user - or is it only for users with great knowledge in more advanced builders and programming? I have reviewed this latest video about the new Container and I have a bit of a hard time following your instructions - it goes very fast for a novice like me. Is it possible in the future that you make use of people who are professionals in making instructional videos? It would help me a lot - and maybe a few more out there :). But great work you are doing. Good luck in the future with your project.

      Hi Nils. Thank you so much for your constructive feedback. I can see your point. I definitely rushed this one a bit. I think we got someone internally now that can take over the video production ... Stay tuned!

    How to set 2 cointainers side by side on mobile? I tried everything but it’s not working

    • @bricksbuilder
      @bricksbuilder  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      To align two containers horizontally you have to edit the parent container and set the "Direction" setting to "Horizontal". That's it. Make sure you switch the the mobile breakpoint you want to apply this align to first, though.
