Aur poem toh Wahhh 👏🏼 For those who don’t know, Sumac is an essential spice across the Levantine and Middle Eastern and North African cuisines, it’s a plant and this powder is from the dried sour sharp tangy fruits of it. It’s used in many ways. Adds a delicious flavour and gorgeous colour. I have fresh sumac and zataar from 4 different countries as my daughters friends know they have to bring me fresh spices from their homelands and holidays in Istanbul and Morocco and the Middle East. Lucky for me my daughters have several friends from there and Palestine 🙈😊 We made a Persian dinner yesterday with sumac in Shirazi salad. I use it in Palestinian Musakhan as well as in various Middle Eastern dishes and mezze. It’s just as essential for us as garam masala. Okay I admit it, I’m a crazy world spices and ingredients collector. Don’t buy me anything except an exotic ingredient! Please can anyone bring me yellow chilli powder from India And lemon pepper from South Africa Old bay from USA? I’m serious. Amazon far too expensive
