@@metalsteel5631 Well the manga was originally a BL (boys love) but the creator discarded the tag in order to center the story moreso around the mystery aspect of the plot. There are romantic implications between them, but nothing direct. SPOILER***: The scene is when "Hikaru" splits his body open and makes Yoshiki touch the insides of his body, which is some type of weird void. "Hikaru" enjoys the feeling and leans into it (?) which questionably led to such an intimate but weird scene.

you should also check out the trailer for "this monster wants to eat me", its a great manga and the anime is coming out next year, a lot of people compared it to "the summer hikaru died"
i'm so excited !! this is like one of my top favorite mangas ever !! I've been reading it since there were only like 5 chapters out and it's just so good. the elements within the story blend so well and gives you the most uncomfortable feelings ever at times (WHICH IS A PRAISE BTW) but also gut wrenching, even relatable feelings to certain aspects(iykyk) and just over-all so good i love it sm! next year can't come sooner ahhh
