- MASH (or M*A*S*H) was an amazing TV series that touched many lives. MASH actors Loretta Swit and Jamie Farr gave a panel at the June 2021 edition of Steel City Comic Con to talk about this amazing show, their careers and to answer fan questions.
Loretta Swit was Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan on MASH, but also appeared on The Love Boat, Diagnosis Murder, Whoops Apocalypse, S.O.B., The Big Battalions, Policewoman, Love, American Style, Hawaii Five-O and many more.
Jamie Farr was Corporal Maxwell Q. Klinger (later a Sergeant) on MASH, but appeared in many other shows such as The Love Boat, Barnaby Jones, Emergency!, Inch High, Private Eye, AfterMASH, The Cool Kids, The War at Home, Cannonball Run II and much more.

I was there and was fortunate enough to have both of them autograph my original 16mm print of the episode No Sweat! Great time!

Rip too all that past away wasn't born when show aired. But I seen every single episode plus movies.what an incredible show what an amazing history with the show
It is great to Jaime and Loretta together again.
Listening to them brings back memories of all the great shows, and actors.
To bad so many legendary Mash cast members are no longer here anymore.
GOD, BEST SHOW EVER. WE DID NOT HAVE VCR'S BACK THEN. PEOPLE WATCHED THE END OF THE SERIES LIVE ON TV. THERE WAS NO TRAFFICK ON THE STREETS.. .. MILLIONS WATCHED.
One of the fun things about growing in Toledo Ohio is Jamie coming home every year for his lady’s golf tournament. We got to see cast members and other celebrities in town to play in pro am part of his tournament.
You can tell the entire cast took pride in the show. And that's probably why this show still number #1 today
yes I identified with what Jamie said about inspiration. as a kid I looked at Alan Alda as what a man was and cant help but feel his character was the basis of mine. I'm now 57 and ending 25 years as a paramedic and can say my eventual choice in the best job in the world was that show.

i loved the episode where they had a sing along while watching a movie.
I watch it back then and now watch all over again.., Great show!! Although I think Jamie Farr was shortchanged in never being Nominated or winning an Emmy!! :( He so deserved one!!!
He stole EVERY scene he was in!

Can you mention a few interesting facts of each of the actors?
Tony Pacos in Toloedo is a place everyone should go to.
Love their hotdog sauce and of course the signed hotdog bun wall.
It would be cool to see Alan and Lorreta work together one more time.

Jammie you guys absolutely made me dream of acting, maybe some day it will come true, I'm 49 now, live 2 hours from Los Angeles but whew, who can afford to live there now

Can anybody confirm if he hosted shows at Holiday World or Kentucky Kingdom? I swear I saw him about 10 or 15 years ago hosting a stage show at one of those places.
