    Excellent video Swami ji, I have read about the detrimental effects of using a pressure cooker. I have reverted back to booking darl on gas, I had forgotten how amazing it tastes. I put dark on gas and do other jobs whilst it is cooking, times flies by

    Ek question hai maharaj ji- kya induction me cooking karna sehi hai? Ya fer isse health mai koyi asar padhti hai? Induction cooker me cooking karne sai khana mai kuch antar padhte hai kya normal gas oven se, ye thoda explain kijiye please.

      Induction cooker aur microwave radiation sey chalta hai. Yeh cellular level pe bilkul healthy nahin hai- lekin west mai isko itna unhealthy nahin maante. Isse shayad aatma ki shakti bhi ghatti hai kyunki yeh khaana pakaane ka high pranic vibrational tareeka nahin hai. Microwave ka interior aluminium ka bhi bana hota hai.. Gas pe LPG ka prabhav khaane par thoda bohot aa hi jaata hai, toh koshish karein ki agar aapko koi aisi recipe banani ho jisko directly gas par garam karna hota hai (bhutta/tomato/brinjal/shakarkand roast), toh usko coal pe hi karein (kyunki usmei Liquified Petroleum Gas ka asar thoda zyada direct pad jaata hai.

    You're totally right. I got irritable bowel syndrome from all the pulses i had been eating. My digestion improved the day I quit pressure cooked daals/pulses/lentils

      You got relief as you started soaking dals before cooking as that is what you have to do when cooking out of pressure cooker. Try soaking dals and then cook in any way you want.

    Swamiji, First of all i don't used pressure cooker but the problem some lentils like arhar, mashoor, etc are unable to cook without it even I soak for one night & cook much more in open pan, but i don't get any success, if you know or anyone you know, who did it, please tell what's the way is?

      Just boil it for a longer period of time- video ka point yahi hai, ki agar khaana pakne mai zyaada time leta hai, toh woh isliye hai kyunki woh khaana hi bhaari prakaar ka hai aur usko process karne mai zyaada agni ki zarurat hoti hai (zyaada agni while it's on the plant, zyaada agni while food preping, zyaada agni while cooking with heat, and zyaada agni while chewing/digesting). Iska aur koi alternative nahin hai. Agar aap pressure cooker use karengi, toh usse khaane mai nutrition ki potency ghategi, agar aapko is barter/deal sey problem nahin hai toh jaankari ke bawajood kiya jaa sakta hai (lekin aapko is method sey kabhi bhi heavy lentils ka nutrition full potency sey nahin milega).. Maybe aap pressure cooker boycott na karke reduce kar sakte hain. Ya phir at least light lentils/vegetables ko bina pressure cooker ke bana sakte hain, taaki har waqt aapka khaana convenience ke chakkar mai khokhla na hota rahe.

      @@arpitagarwal1988 What Yogiji is saying is Truth; whether one can follow or not is upto him/her and the situation. You can change technology but not biology. Life is getting fast paced and technology is evolving yet you see diseases are also increasing rapidly, esp. lifestyle diseases. So one should follow as far as feasible and modify whenever possible to eat in the right way. Example: Instead of cooking rice and dal using pressure cooker, prepare khichdi in normal pot which takes less time than making both separately using pots traditionally. Still if you need more dal proteins, use sprouted whole moong, gram etc.. which can be easily prepared by soaking overnight and are healthy. There are ways for keeping ourselves healthy amidst today's fast paced money and technology hungry era. Else big hospitals and pharma are eagerly waiting for us to rob our hard earned money with big bills apart from the suffering that lifestyle diseases bring in for long periods of time.

    Kya hum Rajma jaisi khane ki chize do tin din patile me boil karte rahe 1ghanta to kya isse rajma khane me koi problem to nai hogi? Pressure cooker se agar prob hoti ho to.

    Guru ji I disagree with you. If we soak dals and such in water for 24 hr before cooking and then throw away the soaking water, and cook in fresh water then we can reduce uric acid problem more than by stopping the use of pressure cooker. I think you should emphasize more on soaking dals, rice or any grain before cooking and throwing away the water. That water can be used for plants if needed as a fertilizer.
