She acts more like a true wild monkey than a former pet imo. She climbs and jumps around on the tree like she's been doing it her whole life, she knows how to forage, and she knows monkey behavior with Takeo. She also doesn't seem to take any interest in you. Glad Takeo is her guardian. She will learn a lot being with a troop. At least she is old enough to not need milk and doesn't need to be fed. I think Takeo feels wanted and is happy with his little friend.

Hi Monkey Momma❤ here's an oldie😊: Do your record books list anything about an adult male pigtail named "Ajoy"? He would have been one of the originals released up at Phnom Bros Pagoda & I would guess him around Ashley's age. Not sure if he arrived with it, but he had an injured left (I think) hand that he held up and curled under. He was known for producing the most beautiful pigtail sons- probably the best looking I've ever seen. If you find anything, please let me know. BTW I hope the lady who entrusted you with her family's records is still with us?🙏🏼 Thank you
This makes me so happy. Especially because there were a couple of new abandoned, recently, that I have only seen video the first day they were released, nothing since. They were panicked and being attacked by other monkeys, so I assume they didn’t survive the night. Little Fancy is smart enough to have found a way to survive and thrive. Seems like Takeo will benefit from this relationship too! So adorable. Thank you for this beautiful update on Fancy.

I lived in Cambodia for 3 months a couple years back and I followed many of the troops we see posted on here and other channels. Now there are 10x as many VO's out here as back then.
Monkey Momma, was she abandoned recently? She seems so relaxed and curious climbing jumping,, most abandoned are so skittish and scared of their own shadow, Fancy is not trying to get to a human and crying, like the abandoned usually do, I know this because when I see one I cry for them😂 so I started not to watch this one because I thought I would cry😂Now I wish they had more Takeo’s to help the abandoned ones from being so scared 😱 Thaks so much for this, it was so enjoyable! And no crying 😂❤❤

And she is not scared to go right up to other monkeys to greet. Most pets are terrified of others.

Why have we never heard of this troop? I thought i was pretty up to date with most of the troops.
There's many troops. A lot of VOs don't film most of them. Augusto troop is near Carbzilla. Lately, Carbzilla was near the temple.
