I really appreciate the posts every day this month. Right now more than ever. I lost my Grandpa 5 days ago, he was a service member as well and this memorial day has been extra rough. Everywhere I go I'm reminded of that man. The daily uploads have helped take my mind off of the things at least for a minute. Thank you for keeping the promise on a video a day for the month of freedom, I didnt doubt you one bit.

I watched a guy drive down the road with an old Caprice with 2 quads strapped directly to the roof and trunk here in Oregon. Nothing stops a true oregunian from hitting the dunes over here!
@@mostlymotorized In Florida, there are more regulations to comply with to haul that on a trailer, than doing this. One tag, one insurance, you don't have to back up to anything, or jack, wire, and chain up. Strapping down and ramps is the same amount of effort you'd have with a trailer.

Hey cleetus i really think the golf cart needs a legend car rear end it should hold the power no problem since they run a carbed 1250 in the legend cars. It allows you to build a small 3 or 4 link system pretty easy. Width may not match up perfectly but i would think it should be pretty close you could even go as far as putting the front suspension in aswell. Im sure whatever happens with the cart McFarland engineeering will make it sweet!
The rear should be at 100..and the front should be at to about 75 or 80.. it will help keep the weight forward...since the sideXside's motor is in the rear.. New sway bars on the vic would help immensely also
Dave Iauco can get a xmr rr like his for $25k around here, but his probably has 10k in accessories. Aftermarket roof, cage, doors, seats, some evo stuff, light bars. Not even including the mud tires and rims and rims and tires he has on it in this video.

It's all a properly secured load. If it was used for commercial purposes, the DOT cops could make him scale it & make an issue out of exceeding the Vic's posted GVW rating in the doorjamb but otherwise, not really a damn thing they could do about it.
Why? The spindles, ball joint's , wheel bearings , etc are all way past their rate rating as well. The soft sidewalls might buy them a little time before something that actually matters breaks...
@@darekmistrz4364 You are right... It also could do with some curves and a full body ramp. Drop down steps would help as well as a winch driven ramps and a winch at the top to pull stuff on. One could also get it closer to the roof to make it more stable. One could also move the weight more towards the center of the car. Full roll cage will allow for better mounts as well and a beefed up suspension components as well.

This thing is sketchy but hilarious. Reminds me of a stakebody silverado I drove. When it got a decent load in it, it got super top heavy and the front end pointed to the sky. Made driving it super fun, especially with a gutless 4.3.
