That was a flashy knee,Hector was loosing gas in the tank and knew that he's gonna lose that fight.
For Lombard… if he can’t achieve the knockout, he mentally gives up.
When he was younger, he had the energy to finish the fight when he had a guy hurt. Seems like he just gasses out a lot faster these days. He's definitely still dangerous though, as the beginning of this fight showed.

Hell the punch is what busted him up, the knee was a light side of the head grazing strike. Thiago held back on that knee for sure.

Lombard is a big baby. The knee didn't do any damage. He gased out in the 1st round and was looking for an easy way out.
this would be a cool rematch. it looked like thiago came to impose his will until hector strongly countered followed by some continuous pressure, but thiago looked like he was loosening up after seperating from hector and even eventually looked like he couldve in the midst of turning this fight around before it ended.
