And I’m confused about this question : if you have 2 filters do you need to change the water?
Yes. You should be doing water changes once a week just to get excess food and poop. Also to help reduce nitrates. Axolotls are messy.
You always need to do water change, axolotls are messy + they need the minerals in water so no minerals = sad axolotls
