I purchased a ground pod a couple of years ago. it made the world of difference. I just ordered the binoculars using your link. They will a great addition to my kit. Thanks for braving the cold to bring us the list of products.
I love living in WI because of the 4 seasons and winter is a fun season for me, but to have winter for 7months out of the year...no thanks. Alaska looks beautiful though. Keep up the excellent work on your channel. I'm glad to see your health has returned.
I always take a little break in the winter and go somewhere warm to survive the length of winter months here in Alaska. I do love and enjoy the beauty of winter here though too. 😅
@@cassienoelphotographywe are probably about 1 month less of winter than you. We are suppose to get snow next week. My wife is from Marquette mi which is 3hrs north and they get a longer winter too. Great Lakes makes our winters fun. We get away in the winter too.
@ I know that one month less has to really help and make a huge difference. I would love to have that. I try to get out of here for two weeks before the New Year and then another two weeks before May. That is a lifesaver for me. Really breaks the winter up and helps me get through it being so long. Where do you and your wife like to get away to during the winter months?
Bought the AP-10 tripod on your previous recommendation and simply the best travel tripod, legs are very sturdy well worth the money. I see many other items I could use. Great video and take care
I was blessed to be able to live up in Barrow for three years and loved it and love the people there and was lucky to get a lot of shots of the snowy owls , polar bears ,arctic foxes and red foxes
Oh perfect! That multi tool is absolutely what I need! Small rig sell 2 Apple AirTag holders. I would recommend either the plate style one or the circle one you can add anywhere if you have a cage (I have the later and it’s not obstructive at all on my R7)
The Smallrig multi tool is very practical but its only flaw is that once you pull out what you want to use, it doesn’t lock into position. Unless they have addressed this issue and it’s no longer a problem. Mine is a few years old and I knew about this when I bought it, thinking that it wasn’t gonna be an issue but it does get annoying at times.
@ I have the 7 in 1. I am not aware if this is an issue on the 9 in 1. You may wanna do some research and try the options of other companies as well. If I remember correctly neewer might be making a similar tool but I don’t know if it is more functional than the smallrig or not.
Another great video. It's hard to tell who is having more fun, you or Cassie. The Llano charger is now available for Nikon, so I will order one for my Z8 and Z6iii. Thanks.
Great intro, poor Cassie 😆 I could feel your pain with the cold and I was hugging my coffee cup the whole time. Sure wish I had had those lens skins this summer when I tumbled off a cliff and rolled over my R7 several times. Lesson learned but something else I would add to the list is the Peak Design Capture clip for your backpack strap. It’s what saved my R7 from flying off into the canyon when I fell. Stay warm you two 🥰
Thank you! I sure could have used a warm cup of coffee in my hands for this too. Lol 😂 Thanks for the tip I’ll have to pick one of those up and try it out. Scott and I have found ourselves tumbling down some spots we probably shouldn’t be in. Those clips are lifesavers! Stay safe as well and thanks for your support and kind words. 🫶🏼
It’s in the works! We’ve been talking more seriously about making that happen. Like Scott mentioned it’s just making the time line up. I am excited to get it on the calendar!🫶🏼
The Lenscoat Ground Pod you have in the Video looks a lot different to the one link/current version. The linked version looks like it is 3D Printed and with flatter side/base, if that is the case then 3D printed versions can be got for a lot less
The one we were using was their original version form many years ago. I also picked up the newer one and it's a tank. Gave that one to my Uncle when he was up last year.
A bonus idea at the end there - USB rechargeable handwarmers can make a huge difference when out in the field (they warm up in seconds, the temperature is adjustable, and you can turn them off when you're done - much more flexible than the chemical ones). 🙂
I have 10x50's also. But the 10x42's usually sit in the Bronco. For most applications looking for birds and such the 42 works well. The 50 is a bit more expensive also
Really suffering for your art there - was making me feel cold watching your fingers and noses getting redder as the video progressed. Some good product ideas there. What you didn't mention was the 'photographers premium' that we have to pay for every camera related accessory - everything is priced 50% higher than it probably needs to be, as manufacturers have realized that we will probably pay it.

Wonderful! The grounded is a great bit of kit and enjoy those new binos.

Great to hear!

Great video, thanks 👍Is there a Lenccoat Neoprene Cover for the Nikon Z180-600mm available?
Yes.I have one on my 180-600. can't find one on Amazon, but Lenscoat direct website has them.
Good ideas! A question, the link to the rain cover is for the Canon 200-800, will that one fit the Nikon 180-600 ok? Good job Cassie!
Yes it will work well. they have 3 sizes. if they are too big its never an issue as you just crumble it up a bit.
Thank you Dan! I really appreciate the encouragement!🫶🏼
Thanks Great Gift ideas.... the Gimble you attached to the Ground Pod.. What brand it that.. Until next time..

Hi! Thanks for your support!🙋🏼♀️🫶🏼
After your experience with your binoculars, do you wish you would've gotten the 10 x 50?

@@WILDALASKA Thank you. I will order the 10x42s. Believe it or not, I have almost everything else you recommended and love them all! Nice job!
Good list, just be aware the cleaning kit doesn't include the fluid needed to clean your sensor.
Interesting, the one we have does. I picked mine u0 at Stewarrts photo locally, but the Amazon one may be missing it. Thanks for the info
Thanks for letting us know. Mine also included it as well but I also purchased mine from our local camera store.
Additional video== What software are using? thanks
Which software? Lot of different stuff......
@@WILDALASKA Basically your workflow for video and photos. thanks

Probably true of any niche products, but lately we are finding a lot more good deals, like the small rig tripod etc.
