@AtlanticBuilt i am getting the cat delete as soon as possible from you! I love how my Z51 Sport exhaust sounds its got that supercar sound so I have a feeling with the deletes it'll sound even better.
Would be happy to give my opinion! In my mind there are a few layers to this, first of all i'd ask myself the question "What do I want most out of this." 4 things come to mind, Power, Sound, Looks, And last but not least, the install cost or time. My honest thoughts on a Cat-back. If the car already has an NPP exhaust, its going to flow quite well, and even sound good when it's on a rip. Although it weighs almost 80lbs and some people don't love the square tips, it does do its job quite well, as a high flowing, virtually drone free exhaust system for the C8 corvette. Vs the aftermarket options out there, they will change the volume, and pitch/tone, have a different aesthetic to them, and give the car a unique appeal in both of those regards, making it more noticeably personalized to the owners taste. There likely isn't tons and tons of power to pick up from swapping it out, although the weight savings and power gain combined definitely add up to more than just peak power numbers from a drivers perspective. Cat-delete/High-flow cats. Both of these will make power, Especially when accompanied by some good tuning, but not needed. Cat-Deletes are NOT road legal. (I know you specified high flow cats, just figured i would ad that in there for others reading.) BE AWARE: Just because some brands promise that there is NO check engine light with their high-flow C8 cats, DOES NOT mean they meet or exceed emissions compliance. This simply means that they have enough o2 storage within the cat to keep the oxygen sensor happy. That being said i'm going to do a shameless plug here and note; OUR ATLANTIC BUILT C8 HIGH-FLOW CATS ARE EMISSIONS COMPLIANT, (EPA# ON THE CAT ITSELF) & NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. So in short, Depending which high flow cats you go with, you can end up with a real noticeable power gain, improved exhaust note and more volume, retaining all factory features that came with the car and the NPP exhaust. But, it's more a "low key" type of mod, that's not many people would notice, which sometimes the end user would rather something people can see and get all googly eyed over haha. So that's kind of the stuff I would personally take into consideration, it's tough call as they both have their different "large impact" features to the car!
