So impressed that Allie knows cursive writing. It’s not being taught in schools anymore. Only Moms know how hard it is to just sit still, we are so used to doing stuff constantly. Sending love and support to all the Moms out there.

It was taught in my homeschool curriculum as well. But our school books came from America, I live in the UK
Many private schools still teach it. I’m not sure about public schools.

I don’t know where you are but that’s not true I have one who graduated in 2014 and one and 2011 and they both were trained to do cursive
Thank you John for giving props to Stay at home moms! I’ve been one since I’ve had kids, and I’ve always heard, “oh you’re a stay at home mom you’ve got plenty of time to do this or that.” I admire working moms, and I also admire us stay at home moms because it isn’t always easy as it sounds! I know by the way you treat your gorgeous wife you love her and respect her and you are showing your girls what to look for in a husband and how a dad treats his girls. You are their first love! You had me in tears giving props to stay at home Moms. When my second son was diagnosed with autism 15 years ago, I stopped working as a nurse and chose to stay at home and at times I felt less than due to others but you recognize the sacrifices we as Moms make for our children. God bless your family and I love seeing the tenderness between you and Alyssa.

My children are 22 and 18....stopped teaching the day my daughter was born. It has been the most amazing 22 years!! We spent endless hours painting, going to parks, beach, walks, reading!! People would say I could be impacting so many more kids going back to the classroom...but I’ve always wanted to impact my kids!! Keep up the good work Alyssa and John! Xoxox

I’ve watched “Bringing Up Bates” since the first episode and I honestly had no idea what an absolute JEWEL of a husband John is until their youtube channel!! He is so, so sweet!!! Y’all have a beautiful family and it’s so refreshing to see young husbands honor their wives. He doesn’t even realize how high he’s setting the bar for his daughters’ future husbands. He’s treating them how to be treated and it is SO BEAUTIFUL to see. My faith is restored in the next generation!! ❤️
