Such delicate and informative video. I went to Nigatsudo to watch sunset and appreciate the serene path and building several years ago. One of most peaceful and authentic places I had ever been. Thanks for bringing back that part of memory.
Hi Yuki-san and Mei-san! Thank you so much for all these videos. Seeing japan through your eyes is so breathtakingly beautiful. My boyfriend and I always watch your videos and we pray that millions of people can see them one day.
@@Meitimeyt I watched almost all your travel videos and I love seeing Japan through your eyes, seeing life through your eyes in general! If I can please ask you a question, I’d love to have a couple recommendations from you for Fukuoka and Tokyo, if you’ve been there. Just a few. I completely trust your judgement and sure I will love anything you recommend 😊 But I understand, if you won’t be able to answer!
@@tessnikolas Thank you so much. 💜 I plan to visit Fukuoka next month, but I haven't researched yet, sorry. I've been to Tokyo but only a short time some years ago, so I don't have much experience to share (Tokyo Tower at night, The National Art Center Tokyo, some big parks..., and it depends on the time to visit, I have different favorite spots). Still, I highly recommend a trip to Mount Fuji from Tokyo (nice weather, cold days for you to see snow on top of Mount Fuji); Mt Fuji is so beautiful.
@@Meitimeyt Oh, thank you for your reply! I’m looking forward to more videos from you and my trip to Japan this November and December. Keep up the good work 🙃
im going to Nara soon and watching ur video make me cry. Thanks for making this kind of video, somehow seeing this video make me realise that there’s a lot of beautiful things in this world😊
Thank you so much for your heartfelt comment. It makes me so happy. 💜 Wishing you an amazing trip to Nara-there’s so much beauty to explore and enjoy! 😊
Your vlogs are so amazing , i'm from vietnam, and i've been loving japan architecture, rituals, cultures, anime & manga so much, that i really want to have a corner of Japan style house in my place. Love your work, meichan❤
I love this! I went last year to Nara and it’s the Nara Tokae too but I wasn’t able to see the candles lit up because we have to go early. I love the deers and the whole ambiance of Nara. Thank you for showing them to us, I hope I’ll be able to go back there and explore more! ❤

It's the reason I'm coming back, isn't it? I highly recommend the Naramachi area and traditional townhouses. Nara Park is also very beautiful in spring.
Stopping the second channel was a difficult decision 😭. I didn't know how to let you know at the time; just leave a note in the community tab. I'm glad to see you here. 💜 Hope you continue to support this channel, too.
I find this video to be what it was ment to be: calming. It does feel like time stands still. Like you don't need to hurry. But....I do wonder were is the trick, the catch...ou now I do see some other people in the video because even I will go to see the deers...but I still wonder how early you visit places so it looks so empty. The daylight should clue me in but I am no Sherlock...Or it is so wast you can almost get lost and be by yourself. Nice video really nice!
Thank you for your lovely comments. 💜 And here are our secrets: Some areas were actually quiet when we visited, such as the townhouses in Naramachi, certain areas in Kasuga Taisha, and Nigatsu-do. However, Nara Park was crowded. We had to be patient and wait for other people to pass by, and we also had to choose the right angle for the shoot. 😊
Im going to Osaka next week and planning a daytrip to Nara. Im glad i found your channel as im wondering what else to explore around Nara aside from the deer park.
Kasuga Taisha is the place where I came closest to understanding what the Japanese call Kami. Together with the sacred deers surrounding it and the "nuns" serving at the shrine, the respect for the god of Nara (Takemikazuchi) is really strong there. Also did you know that the mountain top is sacred area so in general no trespass is allowed beyond a certain point? They take it that seriously down to this day. Todaiji Nigatsudo was also nice, my first time ever seeing a Buddhist monk pray. And as for Mizuya Chaya, thank you for recommending it. I had the most amazing fried chicken udon ramen there. And the staff was very nice and were all happy when I said gochiso sama desu. Also I recommend Kikuiji Monju Shiro Kanenaga knife shop. The master let me hold a 450-year-old katana sword. Who would have thought I would have this once in a lifetime experience at the edge of Nara? Amezing place. :)
