You know I wish songs about sex were just as poetic and meaningful as this. I feel like other modern songs about sex can sometimes take away how sacred the act is which leads me to dislike them. I love this song because it's so poetic and really shows the meaning of having sex, it's to give yourself completely to the one you love, to become one. I feel pretty uncomfortable around sex related songs, but this one just hits different, you know? It's about the love behind the act, the poetic view on it. It's a sacred thing that you give to the person you love with all your heart.
