Personally, I think places like Asafo, Ashtown,Adum,Kejetia etc needs just paint and some little maintenance, and it will be great. I love buildings that tell a story, and Kumasi, to me, has that feeling.
High-rise building isn't an indicator of progress. Go to most European countries and they don't have those buildings. Most have storey buildings but not excessively tall.

Hmmm,I used to think the same until I decided to look for a store. It's not their fault. Store prices are high, and conditions aren't convenient.

What about Accra the capital city .. is more of what u mention.. Kumasi is even better n land is very organized Accra is bush

We need cranes in Kumasi. Forget about Europe. Most African cities have high rise buildings. Anyway, Kumasi look like a village in Bangladesh
