Please Gibson don't kill Steinberger again...this could be promising but hopeful they will consider re-relase of other more flagship designs as well...love my sprit pro, demon and Zt3 and maybe will be a more accepting time considering how many others are losing their heads and considered revolutionary when Mr Ned Steinberger has been innovationg for decades
So this is how Gibson hobbles once-innovative brands...Ned says he's glad to see the Spirit bc he has very little, if anything, to do with the brand anymore. But Gibson drags him out for the sake of nostalgia and a semblance of legitimacy. And Gibson wonders why they're facing bankruptcy. All that's left is a $400 model and the TransTrem models (the ZT-3 was the last one I've seen) are gone, along with the other features the ZT-3 had. If you're thinking about getting one of these, be aware the zero fret WILL get grooves in it from the strings (especially the unwound strings) resting on it constantly and from bends in the lower register. . Mine was making a 'clink' sound every time I would bend the string that was like claws on glass. I had it replaced with a stainless steel fret, so far so good.
I have a Transcale Baritone thats just basically sitting due to the fact that Gibson doesn't even have any parts for it for me to fix it. Ned, please stop Gibson from destroying your Name and Brand!
The Spirit model has a good tremolo but the problem is this guitar has not the best pickups ever made but just the bad Steinberger pickups so, the best thing to change is to change the pickups for real EMG and Active pickups and after that, this will be a good guitar with a good sustain, more outpout and harmonics But in my opinion, the clean sound won't be fantastic i have one with Seymour duncan pickups But for better clean tones and dirty tones, the b est thing is the G3t with EMG pickups SO, for me this new model of the Spirit should have been a guitar with a solid body (like the Hohner) and with EMG pickups Nothing changed in 2018 so, not so happy except for the colors lol
Gibson : Please bring back the TransTrem models.
bring back renewed Synapse with transtrem, pleaase!

I am so excited. Very glad to see that Steinberger guitars carry on and it's not just NS design, which does not offer guitars anyway...

How much Gibson paid him to talk in this channel?
Please make an affordable GM model :(
yay its back from the dead
The Synapse guitars were better made instruments.
But is it perfectly balanced? Is it compact?
Left to right it is balanced but not top to bottom when hanging.
I'm guessing this video is a decade old or so.
you'd be guessing incorrectly this is a re-release of the models with new colors and tops etc to which the one he is holding is '18 model
My birthday is coming... Will be July 29th
