God gave us all things when he gave us Christ.
The life of Christ is the blessing poured out from heaven mentioned in Malachi. I agree with you.

In Malachi that hearers of the word were the Jews. Tithe is a tax of your every produce.
It is no longer obligation because God loves a cheerful giver, it it not just a 10% what we give. Remember the offering of a widow. We cannot bribe God through our 10% tithe, it is always what our heart that matters.

There is no basis for teaching someone owes 10% of income. Teaching generous, joyously, consistent giving is fine. Not under the law, not as a principle, not as some concept strangely conflated with first fruits.

@@markb7067 in New Testament under the Roman Govt the economy changed from produce and livestock to a monetary system. So giving became monetary as well. The parable of the talents had nothing to do with using our talents but being good stewards of our money as a talent was sum of money. Also as Jesus observed the people dropping tithes and offerings into the box they weren't putting produce or livestock in they were putting money in. The widow put in 2 small coins in which was all she had to live on. The New Testament church gave money as the sold property and possessions and gave all the money they received to the Apostles. They actually gave their money over and above the tithe.

@@harryturner4255 Money was widely traded in the Old Testament as well. Notice how offerings had a monetary equivalent in specific denominations in Leviticus 27 yet the tithe of the land did not. Also, notice the reference to earned wages in Haggai 1:6. The point is that money was certainly traded during those times, yet not accepted as a tithe deliverable with the possible exception of the land tithe redemption, and there was a penalty assessed for doing so. The tithe of the herd had no redemption option. Only consumable items from within Israel were accepted as a compulsory (required) tithe deliverable. God's commanded tithe was fruits, vegetables, and clean livestock. Tithes required to the church by some preacher never go to God because God did not require the church to pay tithes. All tithes go to the pocket of the these preachers. Tithes are agriculture products, hence it will be delivered into the storehouse, Mal 3:10 not to the treasurer and its for the levites to survive because God did not give them land but to serve in the temple. The eleven tribes of Israel are required to pay tithes not the church. Are these preacher levites? Where in the bible that convert tithes into cash? The church is encourage to give freely without quota cash or whatever as they purposed it in their hearts. Paul as the apostle to the gentiles never commanded the church to pay tithes.

Tithing is NOT a New Testament Ordinance - Period. The eloquent manipulations and swindling are enough please. There is no store house or it's equivalent in the New Testament. The believers become the Royal Priesthood and The Temple of the Living God. As such they, not a store house, become the custodians and stewards of God's wealth, furnishing it as they are directed by God, for the work of God’s Kingdom. Please, learn how to fund your ministries from the classic Parable of the Talents and from the Book of Acts. Sow back into the lives of the flock, as they give their offerings. Emulate the travelling man in the parable, how he gave the extra talents made by his stewards back to them. This is how Kingdom-funding stewards are raised. He did not take the talents from them to keep in his 'store house'. This is the New Testament model. Take it or leave. Anything else is just kicking against the pricks. The Lord Himself will liberate His people. Indeed, He has already started and all you tithe collector's should be seeing the signs by now and repent. Yes, a lot of ministers had been tithe collectors, a lot still are, but that does not make it right. The purity of the Gospel of Christ, with God's unadulterated directives are emerging in these end times. It is the Lord's doing. Many have been called Indeed, but few ministers will be chosen.

This is taught so wrongly that it makes me feel uncomfortable. I just want everyone reading this to understand that New Testament Christian’s are not mandated to tithe today. Tithe is not “10% into your local church”, it was a law given to the children of Israel to provide specifically for the Levites, for the poor and for the Jewish festivals. When Christ died, the mosaic law also died with it, which included tithes and sacrificial giving. Do we still have to give today? Absolutely, but it is not a legalistic 10%. We are free to give as our hearts desires. Please, Christian’s reading this, give according to how Paul taught us to give according to 2 Corinthians 9:6-8.
I encourage everyone watching this to do their own biblical research on tithe, and not be suffocated by the prosperity gospel.

Here for bants. Gentiles have no authority from God to take tithes and offerings from Jews or gentiles, because they are not from the tribe of Levi's from the levitical priesthood.
God ordained the tribe of Levi to take tithes and offerings from the children of Israel [Hebrew 7:5]
Jesus said to His apostles and disciples, in whatever house you enter, there abide, eating and drinking such things as they give for the labourer is worthy of his hire [Luke 10:7]. This is how a true minister of God is supposed be walking in the truth of the gospel.
Paul said to Timothy, do not muzzle the ox that treaded out the corn. And, the labourer is worthy of his reward [1 Timothy 5:18]. This is how a true minister of God is supposed to be walking in the truth of the gospel.
The ministers of God are not walking in the truth of the gospel, because they are using the levitical priesthood law of tithings and offerings, to collect money from the children of God.
Paul said in [2 Corinthians 9:7]. "God loves a cheerful giver". It's all about giving to the poor.
Jesus said, it is more blessed to give than to receive [Acts 20:35]. Freely you have receive, freely give [Matthew 10:8]. It's all about giving to the poor.
A gentile pastor or minister, taking tithes and offerings from gentiles is a sin, because they are not from the levitical priesthood tribe. And the law of tithing is not of faith. And that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God, is evident, for, the just shall live by faith [Galatians 3:11] A true minister of God lives by faith.
And without faith it is impossible to please God [Hebrew 11:6] A true minister of God cannot please God without faith.
Paul withstood Peter to the face, because Peter was not walking in the truth of the gospel [Galatians 2:11]
The church is supposed to tell the gentile pastor or minister, you cannot take tithes and offerings from Jews or gentiles, because you are not from the levitical priesthood tribe. And if the pastor or minister neglects to hear the church, Jesus said, let him be like a heathen man and a publican [Matthew 18:17].
A church that is not walking in the truth of the gospel, or that it doesn't want to use the scriptures, rightly dividing the word of truth [2 Timothy 2:15] , is not going to be an effective church for spiritual exhortation or edification. And this is why the pastors or ministers are making themselves rich, for filthy lucres sake.

Tithing is contrary to the Apostle Paul's teaching to the gentiles as you CANNOT MIX LAW with GRACE as these 1000+ denominations do! In 2 Corinthians 9:7 we are told to give as it purchases in our heart to give & God DOES NOT CONTRADICT HIS WORD! In Galatians 2:21 Paul says if we are under Law then Christ died in vain and in Galatians 1:8-9 Paul warns us twice about preaching any other Gospel than the one he preaches! Perhaps this gentleman can tell why Paul's Epistles were ever included in the Bible as other than selecting certain scriptures out of the Gospel of Grace, the 1000+ denominations mix it with the Gospels under Law ie before the Cross & mix it with Gospel of Grace! Scriptures quoted are from the King James Version of the Bible!

The Benefits of Tithing? = Garrett Booth's bank account of course. Tithing is old testament / law of Moses. Does not apply, and its quite clear. Giving to the church is not governed by the tithe, but by the heart.

This is a kind of message you get phone I preacher who does not actually study the word of God. If people, including this pastor, believe this. They would give 50% or a 100 %, of their income. This guy is a false prophet.

Wow. When someone uses Abraham as an example of tithing as applicable to those outside of Israel, it shows their ignorance of tithing as taught in the Old Testament. WOW! Talk about the blind leading the blind. Also, if you want to find out how Jesus would have defined the tithe, He would have defined it exactly how the scripture defines it in Nehemiah 10:36-38. To obey the tithe teachers of today, you have to change the way the tithe is defined in the old testament and give another meaning to it that involves money. How convenient.

Ever notice how they don't fully use Abraham's example right? They somehow skip over that. Now why is that? All of you tithers who see Abraham as your hero of tithing, you do know he NEVER gave of his own income right? If you think he did, prove it! You do know he gave away the other 90% right? You do know there's no place in Scripture where he ever tithed again right? Did you pastor tell you this?

    • @sams6233
      @sams6233 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@YhwhKhaiMostHigh I totally agree with you. They also like to leave out that the tithe Abraham gave was from spoils of war, not from his personal property. Also, he gave the 90% to pagan kings. I was victim of the this false tithing doctrine for many years and was so scared not to tithe that even when I didn't have enough to pay the bills in and was close to losing my electricity, I dared not skip paying the tithe!. The day my eyes were opened, it felt like a ton of weight came off my back and the freedom was so amazing.
