I still would personally prefer another "quality of life" update with old MR physics, i.e. frame flex, axle drop, better weight feel, better terrain mapping, (not twigs that kill all your momentum) better repair detail, (repair points fix visual damage as well, like in MR) better sound design for the trucks; things like that. One other thing that would be nice as well, would be a working daylight/moonlight cycle. I dislike how the sun and moon don't move and shadows are static, only the ambient lighting changes throughout the day seemingly. Without these adjustments to the vanilla game, it still feels very beta. Sure, the graphics are better and we have piles of content, but our immersion gets slighted at times, I feel. Pack these into one update, instead of another season, and our game here will truly be one for the history books. I love this game but it could be much better with just a few realism tweaks. Then it would feel worth it for all the additional trucks, maps, contracts, tasks, etc. Edit: No offense to Saber, or anyone for that matter. Just an opinion to share.
I once thought that devs can implement Mudrunner physics as similar option to hard mode, giving players an option to choose between realistic playstyle (Mudrunner) and simplement playstyle (Snowrunner), but it could cost Saber hell of a work

But with new trailers, a difficult snow region & what we’ve got thus far in Year 4, I believe Year 5 is a given, even if it isn’t announced yet. I could be wrong, obviously, but I think Snowrunner fans are safe. Still a very popular game, certainly still generating revenue, so I believe we’re good for another year. 🤞
When i see and hear about ice and snow i remember about Season 4: New Frontiers.I bought that dlc because contains 4 maps and that powerfull truck Zikz 605-R, but let me tell you, that dlc gave me so much nervs and frustration,because of the way developers build those maps. If i wasn't downloading some truck mods,i couldn't finish that dlc entirely...
If it comes to crane on Sleiter, it may be unique, but still excepting the colour it's really similar - I would even say exactly the same as KRS Bandit crane. Still Season 15 looks really promising to me
while i don'T care for s15 that much, what i am mostly excited for is the implication of the logging trailer, since currently modded logging trailers suffer from having a mess unpacking and packing, the fact that there is gonna be a vanilla trailer that has to deal with that has potentially huge implications for this problem
I would love to see 4 axel dump trucks introduced in SR. Maybe wishful thinking 🤔 but for now, I love the update and I look forward to another year; hopefully.

men i still want them to make Snowrunner 2 with improvements, in Snowrunner they ported Mudrunner to the swarm engine to make it look good and ja.... that is why i would like for them to work on even better physics, gameplay, multiplayer etc.
Most likely scenario is that a snowrunner sequel has been in pre dev for a while but with roadcraft out will finally see priority and will probably inherit a lot of the tech/engine from roadcraft such as better terraforming, better weather and support of tracked vehicles. Roadcraft most importantly isn't a snowrunner game, it serves a different niche and driving is less of a focus. So a year five, possibly even a year six wouldn't be out of the question depending on how long Saber wants to spend on this/how hard it is to find a B team for the DLC packs. Obviously they are reaching the limit of what novel content they can produce, though personally I've always preferred the maps that don't have gimmicks like farming and are just plain cargo transport.

I think the log trailer actually should have been a hitch trailer. I know, their a pain to back up, but this thing already has a hitch anyway in the middle. At least if it hitched to the a truck you could carry 3 loads of logs at once (a load on the truck, 2 loads on the trailer). After thinking about it since seeing it on Nathan's video, why would I ever pick this trailer over my Forester + Futom trailer combo? I'm taking the same amount of wood on a trailer that's much easier to reverse with the Futom. So this new trailer, it being a saddle trailer kinda makes it pointless. I at first questioned what the point of a 3-slot saddle trailer would be over just taking a truck with a 3-slot bed. But since these trailers have extra fuel and repair they could be of use to trucks like the Azov 53, ANK Civilian, and Bandit. Would been nice if it was a hitch (like a offroad scout trailer upsized for trucks, that type of hitch rather than a dolly hitch) so we could take 5-6 slots of cargo depending on the truck. But this 3-slot saddle trailer can have some uses. Now a 6-slot trailer, I'm very happy to see this. This will be super useful. Of course going forward with DLC's now I'm sure Saber will start giving us a bunch of missions that need 7 slots of cargo instead of 6. lol We may as well get the 7-slot trailer movement on the way.
Or autocar or something new instead of the usual or hell add the Ford semi truck in mud runner that would be awesome or add more freightliners but you have to get permission to use their trucks
This season looks brilliant cant wiat for it. I think there will be a Year 5 as they are busy with two other games cant see them making a snowrunner 2 and they would be fools to ditch it in my opinion. But working wiperblades would be nice though for me at least 🤣
I just started playing about a month ago but owned Spintirres and mudrunner on release. Im honestly concerned this is the last big thing with them working on a new game. I am not sure i am on board with Roadcraft as it takes less focus off driving, which is all i am interested in doing. I was really hoping for a Peterbilt before they where done. The few mod ones are incredibly op and dont fit the game well.
I've been really disappointed with both S13 andS14 - some of the regions were just plain lazy with ridiculous grind. Almaty is a perfect example - going up and down to the quarries that are totally disconnected from each other was hell. Along with totally underwhelming scenery and rubbish vehicles (that Plad is useless!), I hated it so much I didn't bother finishing it. Austria was Ok (nicer scenery at least) but another pretty average single map. Scandinavia and N. Carolina were also OK but not amazing. I will definitely buy Season 15 (assuming there is one) but if it's too much like S13 and 14 it will be my last season, I'll just play mod maps. On a positive note, it's exciting that Quebec looks good - I'm really hoping the devs have gotten some new enthusiasm for the game. i don't do the PTS any more (as it ruins the experience when the region actually releases) but I really can't wait for this one.

It's a new map(it's a given), 2 new vehicles(it's a given), new missions(it's a damn given for a new season) and 3 new trailers of which only 1 is new that being the log trailer, the other 2 semi trailers are rehashed the normal high sadle platfrom trailer with an extra axle and some spare parts and fuel on that useless part of the trailer over the hitch. I don't see the "soooo much content" i see barely enough content to call it a season. Reason for that is mainly the fact that these greedy sleazeballs keep pumping the paid DLCs like crazy even shoving 2 paid packs in between seasons which they didn't do before.

@@willd7596 True, but not to the degree of say Mudrunner or Spin Tires. The trucks are extremely stiff and bouncy in this game.
