The cooked ground pork we saw on sale awhile ago freezes well, just like ground beef, and it is good in stuffing and in spaghetti sauce (add italian seasoning, ground red pepper and ground fennel). Put it in spaghetti sauce, lasagna sauce, anything Italian. Add different spices for making homemade egg rolls. Add garlic, ginger, low-sodium soy sauce to the ground pork along with prepackaged cabbage mix
Also a must to use that same flavored ground pork sausage as a pizza topping. I use a small coffee bean grinder to grind my spices for smoother flavor. The ground pork sausage is good on breakfast burritos with plenty of black pepper with egg and cheese. It is in my sausage gravy over biscuits, with added sage and ground hot pepper. I use store bought biscuits.
I guess i want to say just think of butcher packaged ground pork as a tube of Jimmy Dean sausage. Especially when it is on sale, be sure to check the price per pound to compare with the prepackaged sausage that comes from who knows where.

FYI you can regrow the green onions by only cutting from the tops. Keep the root ends in a glass of water and the greens will regrow so you always have them on hand.
So, prepping your ground pork for all of this is good, if you have the space. Or. You could always prep the sausage ahead in the different ways and then freeze for later use. Thank you for your service and best wishes to you! 😊
