Miraculous playing ... but then we expect nothing less from the maestro. Such subtlety and delicacy, such infinite precision. Shame about the end of the slow movement though. What happened there that the clarinet is not playing in the closing section and the piano is filling in the clarinet part instead?
Seems like Poulenc sonata influenced this in terms of form. On the other side, I can hear Rachmaninov here, especially in the second part (my opinion off-course). Anyway, this is the masterpiece by great Mangani.
@@omaslo absolutely this is a beautiful composition. I agree with you for the form. More precisely in the third mouvement, the rhythmic mimics 3rd Poulenc Sonata (triplets with accents) and the scales “ff” before long phrases is really sounds Poulenc as well:) The piano part is also in the same ambiance. Pretty sure the composer knows Poulenc clarinet Sonata very well ;)
Michele Mangani has the best compositions for clarinet this is so beautiful😍
This composition is so beautiful, and so beautifully executed by Mr. Giuffredi that it inspires me to be a better clarinet player.
Second part, so beautiful and light, always bring me to tears❤
Maravilhoso!!!
Emocionante!!!
Hermoso!
Would love to play this some time in the future 💖
So beruhigend, wunderschönen. Dann hüpft ein Rehkitz freudig durch den Frühlingswald in die sattgrüne Wiese.
Que hermoso 🥺💜

I'm so glad I listened to this, the second movement is absolutely sublime! I've ordered the sheet music, despite being a euphonium player!
Isn't it just. :)
Where did you order the music?

Hermosa sonata y gran interpretación . La partitura en el andante no continúa con la melodía y falta un segmento.
