the quality on these compared to your full sized camera is kind of insane. Not only do they have outstanding features but god damn, webcams are *insane* these days
This is pretty cool. Can it record to an SD card or do you have to have some kind of external capture device? Right now I'm using a 360 cam for this purpose but have to do the reframing in post.
Question: Will the mini Obsbot camera; work with the tail-air Obsbot; hooked into it; for multi-camera scenario s using both cameras to stream and or record UTUBE videos?
Enjoyed this. How would the camera work for someone who is say at their desk pkaying a game!?😂 I already try to do multi camera just for the variety you mentioned, but interested if this could make the static standard gamer angle more interesting?
Love the video! The PTZ flood of the webcam market is super cool. Do they have a feature like the insta360 where there are locked positions that only pan-tilt after you leave the 'hero shot'? LOVE that its NDI!
Sometimes I do not understand what Google is doing or thinking. The Germanish / English auto translated? TH-cam Video Title is "OBSBOT Heckluftpolster" which does not make ANY sense neither in English nor in German, because it would translate to something different. I even told my Google Account which languages I do speak, so they do not need to translate.... "Heckluftpolster" would be something like "Back Air Pad" or "Back Air Cushion"
It seems awesome but wow it’s $1000? At that point I may just go with a mirrorless camera because I can hook it up when streaming and then also take it with me on the go for photography or videos when traveling.
In the US they’re more like $400 But also a mirrorless camera won’t do PTZ so very different priorities lol And you’d need more money for glass, dummy battery, capture cards
I can talk about why I bought one for myself a few weeks back. (For far less than $1000, at that.) 1. I already have mirrorless cameras, but I _don't_ have a camera operator when I'm on-camera. 2. I have an OBS-centered recording and streaming workflow, so being able to add another camera to my setup over NDI, without adding even more capture cards or taking up USB 3 bandwidth was a HUGE bonus 3. The ability to record straight to micro SD will make this super useful for in-the-field recording, especially paired with a Rode Wireless ME lav setup that feeds into the mic port. 4. This also has object tracking built-in, which I plan to pair with a motorized slider for some sweet product shots 5. It's wireless and has a battery, meaning I can move it literally anywhere during a stream or production, and still record or stream straight into OBS, making it incredibly flexible. 6. The income I make through my TH-cam/Twitch streaming business can afford this, and I'm happy to reinvest that money into my business. I mean, it's clearly not for everyone, and it's not going to be anyone's top priority. But once most of your basics are covered, it's a compelling choice.
@@EposVox Ah you're right I was looking at the Tail Air 2, insane that it's $1000. For sure though the Tail Air 1st gen is a great buy for around $400 for those who are looking for the PTZ functionality.
In the US it's around $400 which is the price of normal, static USB 4K webcams, and far cheaper than mirrorless cameras etc. Are content creators - who use this stuff, analyze prices, and compare market values on the daily - out of touch? Or are commenters who see a complex stream setup with multiple cameras and somehow expect the product to be less than the cost of a video game the ones who are out of touch? lmfao
I got a Tail Air about a month ago, and it's been really fun to surprise people with on my streams and in production.
HELL YEAH
I love my tail Air…love the OBSBOT lineup period. I think their companion app that goes with it is the best one of the bunch
I was pretty impressed by the depth of the app
I love my OBSBOT 4k! Their cams are sick!
Yeah!!

Right?!
I read multicam while scrolling and thought about the camouflage for a moment. Neat tech video on camera setups
Your space is looking tidy. Nice review!
I have used obsbot tiny 2! Really impressed with its features! I want to try tail air!

They can record to microSD too!

You cannot plug one camera into the other, no
You can plug both into a computer

i was really confused by the auto translated title. What is a Heckluftpolster???? Why is the Streamer man trying to sell me a trailer suspension?

LOVE that its NDI!
How resource heavy are they?
Wait, you can just stream with them from your phone?!
YUP

YEAH
These cameras are sick, but they are definitely for established streamers aren't they? We little guys on a shoestring must sit and aspire I suppose.
$700 -> mention that at the start of the stream .
Not everyone will have the manufacturer sent them a few.
Content creators are so out of touch ...
