The making a potion with random stuff meme I find very funny. When I was younger, I did that with water, and put a punch of plants and sticks in it in our backyard. The next day, it started to stink. We had to hold our noses when we went through the back door because that’s how bad it smelled.

In fact, not only little kids are amazed when they see the moon during daytime. A few months ago my friend (16 by that time) and I were walking home from school together. Then, she looks up and sees the moon and acts shocked. Then, she grabs my phone (because her own has no battery), takes a bunch of pictures with it and tells me to send them to her later.
Primarily, there are two reasons why we sometimes see the moon during the day. First of all, the moon is bright and close enough to be seen against the blue hue of the sky. Secondly, the duration for which it is above the horizon of Earth coincides with the sun, making it possible to be seen during the daytime.
