This is the bias that we have to live with. But it is not new, words like democracy have lost meaning because people have misused them when the narrative suits them. There is no GNU in South Africa and that is a fact. Anyone who says otherwise is either lying or doesn't understand what GNU means. How can you call it a GNU when it has "founding" partners? If it was a gnu there would be no need for ANC to consult DA on who joins and does not.
The "political analyst" pushes a particular agenda. Although those who claim to join first can say what they want, but the "GNU" is not suppose to be a coalition first and then a "GNU". According to the ANC, the space is still open for more to join. Then only we might call it a "GNU" in which the agreement applies.
