Would you recommend the lindemann 161 which is plain cut over the lindemann 162 which is crosscut? Does the 161 do the same thing only it is less aggressive?
Great question and sorry, but I've never used the 161 to give you any feedback. The 162 works great and yes I'd assume the 161 would be functional, just less efficient at sectioning.
Great video ! Any bur recommadations for when even regular surgical length burs can’t reach even by cheating a bit and pulling the bur slighly out on that friction grip ? Like something 30 mm total length vs 25 mm for friction grip ?
There are XXL surgical 700 bits from Salvin I believe which are designed for a FG handpiece and would do the trick! Other than that, depending on the situation you can use a straight handpiece if you have access as the bird for those can easily reach the base of a socket (for an upper canine for example). All the best!
Thank you. It would be really helpful to add photos.
Can you show the types if burs your talking about?
video will go good if u display burs picture too
You should include pic of bur along with measurement...

I'm afraid I don't do the BSSO procedures as I am a general dentist. All the best!
