Hello Jared, everything is looking great. The calf is really growing. I’m pretty sure that bush you showed us is elderberry. God bless you & your family 😇🙏🏻❤️👍🏻
My husband and i drove to Louisa on Saturday, because we are thinking of relocating now that he's retired from the Navy. (Hes originally from Pike County) Love your channel & it gives me inspiration for what i hope to have when we move back.
Hey y'all, Those elderberries will continue to spread. They send up new shoots 6-12 inches away from the plant and they will spread as far as you let them go. When they first come up 8-12 inches tall I run over them the lawn mower and that keeps them the size you want. You do need to cut out the center canes as they kinda die out. That keeps the plant fresh less likely to get a disease or get weak. If you let some new shoots grow in a line in one direction you can let small clumps form up in to a new plant then I clip off some of the canes between the two clumps over time as the spread left and right you can get a nice straight line of them for free takes a few years but for me I got plenty of free time to get free plants. I got lots stuff grown that way by propagation or by splitting root balls into two plants. I got more time than money invested in my landscaping so y'all do not have to spend a lot of money to keep up with others if you got time, energy and patience. Keep putting your money away and get out of debt y'all. God bless y'all I hope everyone has a great spring and summer
Howdy Jared- spring has sprung. Polk is up good around here. Not had a mess yet. Good eatin with some cornbread. Hope all is well over your way. God bless y’all
That’s exactly how my Mom use to cook poke many years ago. Some people have never taste of poke. I loved it way back then. How’s the kids doing ? You never say. God bless
Jared, thanks for the greasy pole beans. It took two years but I was finally able to get some and have it gerowing in my garden. Your farm looks good, lots of projects. How did your root cellar work out through the winter?
Good day Jared. I have to apologize for the comment on your last video when you said you thought it was an Elderberry plant growing and I said it was something in the gooseberry line. Seems my "FREE" plant identification APP on my iPhone called it something else today when I took the picture. Guess you can't trust the free app's anymore. It sure is greening up good around there and things are coming out everywhere. Looks good around there, stay safe and keep up the good videos. Fred.
Morning, love the video's. All is really looking good, and yes I've had good success in trapping honey bees here in Central Ms. I have caught 3 so far this spring. Good luck.
Everything is looking really good at the Fluty Lick Homestead, thanks Jared and you folks take care 🙂.
You are doing such a GREAT job on your homestead. Love the look of the place and the lay of the land! Makes me miss Kentucky. God bless.
beautiful image of the bee. thank you

Root cellar is doing good, going to add little more dirt around one side and I think I’ll have it the way I want

Love to find some bees
I was trying to see all those morel mushrooms to be picked--lol PS==be careful about ticks we already got a alert here in Ohio about them.
I’d sure like to find some morels here!
I miss the Spring changes. Living in Florida, we only see minimal changes.
Where does the name Fluty Lick come from/what does it mean?
How is your barn looking now
