High end cpu is used to ensure there will be no cpu bottleneck and the gpus are utilized as much as possible. Same if you would like to compare cpus you should run games at lower resolution and with a high end gpu.
As a NVIDIA user most of the time last 25 years, i hope Intel GPU's will hurt the NVIDIA market. I'm getting tired of NVIDA for several reasons, and their new GFE experience replacement is a unoptimized buggy mess.
I do not care about the b580 but after reading some comments, do any of you realize that a lot of people do not like buying used gpus? many of them were used in stuff that was not necessary gaming, and I know as I sold a good bunch of used gpu and every time someone purchased one i was like "good for me since if he knew what i did with it , he probably would not have purchased it ".....
As long as the GPU is not heavily overclocked and running hot 24/7 it's fine as that would highly degrade a GPU but they are literally built to be used my guy. Look at GPUs like 980ti from nearly 10 years ago so many still working to this day and performing decent at 1080p.
How has Intel's marketing strategy, which has become increasingly aggressive and similar to AMD's under CEO Lip-Bu Tan, fundamentally altered its core principles? Has this shift led to misleading customers into purchasing inferior products by prioritizing market tactics over genuine innovation and performance?
3060 or even the 4060 and the b580 should not be recommended for 1440p at all. Great 1080p card, but even with the 12gb vram the b580 has it just doesnt have the power to perform a playable 1440p experience. Id grab 6800 or xt model while theres still some available for 300-350$.
He's comparing similarly priced GPUs. The closest one in price and release date is the RX 7600 8GB for $270, which, guess what, the B580 easily beats. I thought people got it by now looking at the thumbnail.
But having CUDA worth much more than just 10 to 20% fps increase by Intel. In fact 3060 is better if you plan to do anything else on top of gaming. Cuda let's you run Ai models locally, llama 3 for instance. You can use GPU acceleration in 3d simulation software, rendering. Note than Intel doesn't do even average on this cases, so if you only play games assuming the drivers are fine and compatible, Intel can be good. But the same price same vram, given the difference I said, 3060 is better. One reason people loved rx580 was that I was way cheaper and had 8gb vram which was a lot at the time. If Intel had a model with 16gb vram with the same price tag (Nvidia has low vram intentionally like apple does with storage) there was some advantages to argue.

Cause the 4060 is a bad joke.
8gb not enough in 2025
he already made a video on that
why always use high end cpu like ryzen 7 why not ryzen 5 ? high end or mid range cpu the same fps on entry gpu? sorry bad english
High end cpu is used to ensure there will be no cpu bottleneck and the gpus are utilized as much as possible. Same if you would like to compare cpus you should run games at lower resolution and with a high end gpu.
ok i get it now
why the video show us the arc b580 have 130W tdp max while the specs show us it has 190W?
That's bad programming of temperature sensor... wait for update int3l 2ill fix it n3xt g3n... 😂😂😂
Shouldn't the new Intel card have been compared to the 4060? Thanks for the video
im so excited for the b770 will it be the new budget 1440 beast
Wait till 2 or 3 drivers to out for Arc B580,No doubt the card get over 15% performance increase... anyway...
ARC B580: The best card for 1080p gaming in 2025.
2024... well have to rx 8000 series.
@@catfacecat.Don't know how many vram gonna be in 8600 but if they still have 8 GB maybe it's over for amd
@@AruslyV1 i doubt amd will do that with b580 being here.
b580 at 300€ or more is DOA....
At 250€ is MIA.
i wish apex legends or cs2 was here for source cpu heavy games
As a NVIDIA user most of the time last 25 years, i hope Intel GPU's will hurt the NVIDIA market.
I'm getting tired of NVIDA for several reasons, and their new GFE experience replacement is a unoptimized buggy mess.
Clearly intel was jealous AMD was able to be compete with intel and Nvidia at the same time so they gotta do it 😂
I’m getting the b580 asap
@@gamingedition5165 the ones I sold were running 24/7 for 4 years.
Nvidia app off? On 3060
Only Game Filters and Photo Mode that are the problem, not the entire app. 🤷🏻♀️🥴
Good job intel, hope the fan boy intel can be proud. Fighting. The user like me will love it🎉
The RTX 3060 consumes slightly less power than the B580, about 20 watts less.
but B580 is much better choice.
Intel the new People's Champ?
Alright Intel, you have my attention. I wanna see what they can give for 700$.
Maybe test against 3060 ti?
Test it with dlss and xess
so if you had the 3060 when it launched at msrp , you got your moneys worth out of it , i own that 3060 xD , they called me a madman
GTX 580
RX 580
B580
Это ещё учитывая, что оптимизация под интел не лучшая. Возможно выжать ещё 10+% фпс за счет оптимизации
580 is just the lucky number at this point
I'm so glad for Intel
pretty unfair comparison considering the rtx was released back in early 2021.
He's comparing similarly priced GPUs. The closest one in price and release date is the RX 7600 8GB for $270, which, guess what, the B580 easily beats. I thought people got it by now looking at the thumbnail.
The 580 isn’t even the flagship is it?
The RTX 3060 is the winner because it is the only graphics card in this test; a pretty easy win.
Off your meds again!!!?

These are not 1440p cards. These can work on 1080p 0 FPS but not on 1440p.
I heard b580 have false reading in power so add 50-60+ watts to it but still better card.
Seems Intel is going to crash them all in the future 😂
we all know 720p 30fps is enough.
