I’m guessing he either just hates the campers or was contracted by Chris to torture them with bad food.
Also, the complaint that he made bull balls in itself isn't actually the complaint you think it is. Rocky Mountain Oysters are a known delicacy... That said the way he made them was obviously intentional to make them as gross as possible.

No he doesn't, Spongebob got Squidward addicted to his food, man is as valuable as the formula on his own which goes to show he's doing all the work since Squidward (who also knows the formula) can't replicate his cooking ... Not to mention Bob had the entire population of Bikini Bottom down bad for *_his_* cooking, *TWICE.* When he made pretty patties, he did it on his own. No Krusty Krab hat, no secret formula, just Spongebob and his spatula. The recipe for jelly patties was so good that Krabs committed war crimes just to replicate it on his own. Every time Spongebob has a new idea, Krabs and his "secret formula" seem to look like ass and he has to take advantage of Spongebob who is damn near a superior cook.

@@ZzIAmNOTLegendzZ bro, Spongebob is privy to the best recipe bikini bottom has to offer, of course his food is good. He knows the formula, and is passionate about it. That's the difference between him and Squidward. After all, the first episode of the show has the both of them making tons of krabby patties.
Plus, isn't suspicious that all he makes are variants of the krabby patty? And in my opinion, the only reason why it gets so much attention, is because the krusty krab menu doesn't change.
Not to mention the Jim patty and the fact that he couldn't learn how to make it.
Also with his hidrodynamic spatula with port and starboard attachments he can make a couple HUNDRED burgers in like a couple of seconds to please a giant anchovy crowd
