Hi Lisa (and everyone else considering to buy this think) your video actually helped me a lot in my buying decision for a new laptop for university. And believe it or not, I'm now a proud owner of the ThinkPad Yoga 260. And I've been pleased with it, it's most of the time very reliable, I never needed to charge (and I have long days...) and the touchscreen is super helpful. Furthermore I'm even able to do my CAD work on it if I'm on the go. So a huge thank you to you Lisa for this great review which makes me happy every day, and to everyone considering buying this, go for it if you don't mind a lot of nothing next to your screen!:)
@@tahmidhasanshoumik8880 I did yes, i no longer use as i sold it on but it was great for about a year still up to speed, no issues and i recommend . enjoy
The quality jump is awesome. I've really enjoyed your videos compared to others because of how long and drawn out they are. I know I can come to you to get literally everything about a product. Enjoy all the videos, keep it up.
Your reviews are some of the best I've seen because you don't really care too much about benchmarks but more about what the machine is meant to do. Kipidap!
Thank you so much lisa. You saved me again. I bought the Lenovo Yoga 720, and the Thinkpad 260 blows the 720 out of the water. I bought the 720 for $30 more at best buy... Lenovo has this on sale right now for 760 +/-.... You are the absolute BEST reviewer on youtube. If you charged, I would pay to watch your reviews.
Excellent review - especially, as outlined by the discussion of the stylus pen functionality. I'm planning on purchasing second hand from Amazon for around $400 USD. Still amazing that it cost $1400 USD in 2015. If it wasn't for the poor color gamut, I would say that was a great price.
Hi like your videos, just wanted to ask about Eluktronics gaming laptops, are they whorth looking at. Can't find any video reviews of them... maybe you can do one for the gaming series. Thanks
5:39 i really hope this line of thinking changes soon. even if you wouldnt be hooking up an eGPU for games then at least you might be to do some video editing. surely it makes sense since a lot of business people would want the option
If the keyboard is lifted in tablet mode and say some sand or loose debris managed to get into the gaps and you change it back to laptop mode, does that mess up the keyboard?
Great review. My question is, when the screen is all the way folded back, could we still use the keyboard? My partner is blind so wanting to use the computer without the screen, essentially.
Great review. But how do you take pictures with the one sided camera? You really can't see what you are trying to capture, unless your intention is only to take selfies.
am having hard time to decide to either get the traditional x270 (cheaper) vs this yoga 260, pros and cons between the 2? Would the constantly moving parts of the yoga make it more prone to having problems in the long run? or the usability or more functionality would trump that over a traditional laptop? another concern is having a touch screen which traditional laptops may or may not have, thank you
+platinumdynamite Hi, what do you think abour the batterylife of the P40. For mainly Office/Web-usage at university in medium/low brightness Because I'm searching for a convertible (with pen) for use at university (min 6h batterylife) which could mybe also used for playing some older games (Skyrim, Battlefield3 and older) I know the Quadro would do that, but it's the batterylife I'm not sure about. (Lenovo says 8h P40 and 10h Yoga260, so when yoga260 is in the range of 6-8h, the P40...hm)
love this! When will the review of the Thinkpad p40 Yoga be coming? When will the comparison of the thinkpad x1 yoga, thinkpad yoga 460 (when it comes out), and thinkpad p40 yoga be available? looking to get a yoga but don't know what one to get.... I know I would like an i7 with lots of ram!
Thanks for the review! it would great to see a smack down with the X1 carbon, and also with the Dell XPS 13. Well made video except for the b-roll and frozen image zoom where the focus was a bit off.
hi, a factor I find very important when doing concept art, is pen tilt support. While typically it was only in wacom professional products, since apples pencil introduction. I'l hopefully others will now take note. Please please, can you find this inforrmation out with all the new stylus systems you review thank you.
Thank you for the review. I am a fan of fingerprint sensor and 2-in-1 convertible laptops. I've searched for many models, from HP to Dell, some are decent convertible ones but lack of fingerprint sensor, which leads me to the Thinkpad yoga series. through the review, this one might be the best fit and I'm definitely gonna buy it. Besides, I love the pointing stick, lovely :)
Have they resolve the display problem? I have the 12.5 inch gen 1 and it has pretty bad image retention problem. Lenovo won't acknowledge that it is a problem and will just replace the screen with another one. It's a problem with the LG screen itself. This is a problem with the Dell XPS 12 as well bc it uses the same display and Dell has come out and acknowledged it.
Thanks for reviewing this! I'm after something similar to the Surface Pro 4 but in a more laptop form factor and this fits the bill pretty well. It's a shame though that the options max out at 1080p.

Personally I hope you might add a standard process of reducing the screen brightness from 100% to 0% to check PWM problem that can be caught by video camera for your laptop reviews. Thinkpad's are awesome for their rugged build quality, Trackpoint, and legendary keyboard. The premium pricing is justified because there are no real weaknesses..... except for their horrible displays. Being a "business laptop" is no excuse nowadays when quality LCD's are cheaper than ever. The Thinkpad displays are worse than most netbooks and smartphones. That's just pathetic. I just picked up a Surface Pro 4 mainly for it's gorgeous screen. I've been a huge Thinkpad fan dating back to the IBM days and I hope they address the LCD issue in time for my next laptop purchase, in 2-3 years.
