This game continues to blow away my expectations. Myself and two other helldivers were on Meridia before it was destroyed and we weren't expecting anything when we arrived back on our ships. When we did get back, we were greeted with this alarm and warnings we had never heard before. Everything that happened after that I'm sure most of you know but we were staring at the hole for 30 minutes and just talking. It's the little things that can create such memorable moments.
it was basically just a glorified defend for x minutes mission except you had to do it 3 times and the bugs (or your teammates...) could destroy the drill meaning you had to start the timer over again...
The view of the black hole reminds me a lot of the first game and how alien the universe felt there. And I'm loving the ongoing theme of us doing this to ourselves. The termicide, pushing the bots to full mobilization, opening the door for the squids.
I _really_ like the way they did this. After countless missions on that dang planet, suddenly I log in today to "Emergency jump activating" and the holy crap feeling set in. I think because your ship is such a cozy safe spot, to have a few seconds of imagining real danger there brings...something. Reminds me of the first Thargoid interdiction in Elite Dangerous.

You ate how much turkey and then went to a BBQ? boy you protein loading for a reason? Or do you think you can be the next blackhole in the meat only catagory?
I mean in 40K warhammer there is planet killing mile long void ship fired torpedoes with vortex warheads which rip a tear in reality and literally made a black hole. Ah i love me an exterminatus

Being able to customise the interior or even exterior paint/lighting would be outstanding. I'd love me a Black Hole Purple. Hell, I want the armour and cape in Purple!
@@cj-3810 one, i’m on console. two, I used some minor hyperbole. instead of crashing for every single mission, it only crashes half the time. so to be more precise i’m not playing because I don’t feel like rolling the dice with a half hour of my time just to get a crash. this is, to me, inexcusable on a playstation where the hardware is the EXACT SAME as everyone else. please cope harder guys

Joel definitely made it easier, to me we weren’t making enough progress.
Prob not him but as the major order went on, the planet was getting easier to liberate.
The regen rate of meridia was steadily decreasing as the MO progressed. So it was definitely by design.
It’s more so the dark fluid slowly disrupting termind activity

the game never crashes mid mission for me or most of the playerbase, verify game file integrity, delete shader cache, etc, its on you, not the game
