❤you are wonderful food reviewer. Good luck. Looking forward for more videos. I like sri lanken foods too from UK
Thanks so much for the kind words, and for watching!
That looks really cool - had no idea! Yeah, Richmond really is a bucket of surprises!
Did a set of video jobs for a Hindu Temple up on Broad, down Manakin Road - making DVDs for them. Very sweet folks, and while I waited as they would prep the next batch of hard drives, there was a permanent tent set up out front where 3 older ladies would rush me over to a table, "Eat! Eat!" and gleefully give me a plate of some AMAZING FOOD! Hands down that was the best part of the gig - I really looked forward to seeing those ladies and trying another few foods they had laid out in the tent. SOO GOOOD!
RVA Food Festivals are the BEST!!!
👍👍👍
Good luck for ur channel ❤❤❤
@@hasithjayarathne3660 Thank you!
It’s not cinnamon,it’s cardamom
Thanks! I didn't ask what it was, I was just commenting on what I tasted. And it tasted great!
They missed so much of Sri Lankan foods and sweets you never expecting from any other country. This is just an Indian mixed one. Cheers...🎉
Thanks for watching! Since the festival, I've been searching for Sri Lankan food near me and CAN'T FIND ANY!!! Closest is 2 hours away, so I hope to try there sometime!
We used to have a lot more variety of Srilankan dishes but this year the volunteers who where making those Sri Lankan dishes where out of town. This year it was mainly kothu porrota and jaggary pudding .
@@bravetimmy Thanks for the reply! Pls forward any Sri Lankan festivals or restaurants or events in the area so I can cover them!

It's "Kottu " not "Kathu"
Thanks for the correction - All I had to go on were the signs in front of the food and the coaching of the helpful staff!
Sri labkan is kottu roti,
@@warsil3735 Thanks for watching!
Bro porata is indian not Sri lankan
This was an Indian / Sri Lankan Festival. Thanks for watching!
Kotthu was made of Chopped of Godamba roti.
This is Koththu Parota. It's more Sri Lankan than Indian.
