Hey man thank you so much. I've been beating myself up for weeks now trying to figure it out. I had the same problem with the belt being to short. I seen the other guys video first and yours was easier to understand. Thanks again
I tried that with my 96 agway 2125... Too far forward and the wheels bend the blade, and the engine pulley eats the deck! After mowing, wont shut off anyway! Will try new belt! You may need an inch longer belt... Especially if you swapped the ic briggs for a new intek! The engine is a little bigger and the crank might moved forward a bit causing the belt to stick. Or that adjustment rod might be worn!! Have to keep playing with it! Does your deck come down even? Mine comes down farther on the right! Hope all is well and safe! Thanks S
I have similar mower Troy-Built Pony with similar issues. I see a thick spring (mine is missing) in the video attached to the Stabilizer Bracket which connects the deck to the mower. I cannot see where the spring attaches near the rear end of the mower. Do you have a photo of this area available to see?
Same problem with me, I can not figure out where that spring goes either. I see where it attaches to the mower deck, but can not locate the other end near the drive axle. Did you ever find out??? Thanks John!
Hi guys, I have the same lawn mower, which was free to me last year. I removed the mower deck then, and have all of it connected back up now, but I can't seem to figure out where the spring connects that is attached near the drive axle from the rear of the mower deck. Can either one of you describe it for me??? Thanks John!
