The sooner the country realise that the public enemy is not necessary Zuma but Pravin & the President on selling the SOE’s to private guys the better. Brian & the likes of Koko had Eskom’s best interest & the country not the private guys whose been benefiting for all this years. The greed of Oppenheimer mines & other big giant (Anglo, Exxaro, BHP Billiton, etc) with the 40 year contracts is disheartening & evil.

If everyone was interested in getting to the bottom of this they would acknowledge that Tegeta only took over becuase they were willing to not increase. Pembani was way ahead of Tegeta when it comes to taking over Optimum but they too wanted an increase.

  • @QthobQthobs

Why on earth would a GCEo be crucified for refusing to allow a change in supplier price with such a margin? Who's benefitting out of that deal coz it's no eskom? And who's interests are being protected? Why must he answer for optimum as if he was its Ceo?

So experts came and looked at financial position of OCM and recommended a price and compared it to market prices. I see a big flaw in this as they should have discounted the fact that optimum walked into a mine without paying a cent so at no point would they have been entitled to a market related price.
