I''m a big fan of Rivermaya and their songs ng magkaroon ako ng CD Walkman (circa 2003), wayback napansin ko na wala na masyadong guitar solos/adlib sa mga songs na nirerelease ng band (gaya ng sa 214 at Awit ng Kabataan), and I found out that wala na pala sa banda that time yung kayang maka-create on that kind of guitar sound, akala ko si Rico Blanco did that solos hindi pala haha. I am a young guitarist, started playing the e. g. at 7 yrs old... am now 13 and has a YT channel where I upload my cover videos...
I did not undergo any guitar lessons, not able to read tabs/notes... I only play by ear... so if a certain song seems difficult, I look for tutorials like 214 and Awit ng Kabataan which are on your channel...
Looking forward to more tutorial videos, Sir Perf! You are one among the Pinoy legendary guitarists that I look up to.

Sir perf , dati diko pa kayo kilala at diko din alam na may banda kadin na sikat dati , habang nanonood ako ng yt may nakita akong vid mo na nag react ka sa kanta nila cong tv na nasilaw sa dilim at tapos may narinig akong kanta na ang title ay 214 dati naririnig ko lang to sa radio ang hindi ko pala alam na ang kumanta pala nito ay ang rivermaya at nakita ko lang na kasama ka din pala sa bandang to at dun na kita na kilala hanggang sa bumili ako ng electric guitar para matugtug ko yung mga kanta ng rivermaya at tapos nahilig nako sa mga kanta ng mga 90s dahil sa rivemaya diko naman talaga expected na mahihilig din ako sa gitara pero dahil sainyo sir perf mas lalo akong ginanahan mag gitara kayo po yung nagbigay ng inspirasyon kasama na po ang mga kaibigan ko sir perf hanggang ngayon kapag naboboring ako pinapanood ko lang yung mga solo tutorial mo para hindi ako maboring.

Napadpad ako sa channel na'to nang mapanood ko yung kaleidoscope sa 10 string guitar. Dun ako naamaze ng sobra. Then narinig ko yung isa kong kuya na tinutugtog yung solo ng awit ng kabataan. Dun ako nagkaron ng interes na aralin, sadly di ko pa rin kaya.
Sobrang laking tulong ng Guitar Theory. Sa ngayon stuck pa din ako sa 4 haha.
Wala pakong sariling gitara, nakikihiram lang ako sa mga kuya ko and hoping na this year makabili na ko ng sariling gitara.

I''m a big fan of Rivermaya and their songs ng magkaroon ako ng CD Walkman (circa 2003), wayback napansin ko na wala na masyadong guitar solos/adlib sa mga songs na nirerelease ng band (gaya ng sa 214 at Awit ng Kabataan), and I found out that wala na pala sa banda that time yung kayang maka-create on that kind of guitar sound, akala ko si Rico Blanco did that solos hindi pala haha. Thanks Sir Perf. Practice makes Perfecto!

Hello Sir Perf! The music theory videos really helped me familiarize the fretboard and the exercises you gave, the one you asked us to write on the paper with the whole fretboard and the whole and half notes starting from C.
