Your blanket turned out beautiful! I have quite a few blanket whips that are requiring counting and more than I want to give so I know where you’re at with that. Bravo for finishing it ❣️ I am sure your son will cherish those socks and think of you every time he wears them. I hope you have a lovely fall week.🍂🍁☀️
Hi Amy. There are never enough words to say how lovely all of your projects are. I really love the blanket colors and the set in sleeves on your cardigan too. They look like a good length to me.
The afghan baby blanket is beautiful , but I observed the same thing when I crocheted one that was similar. I had handspun some wool from friends' sheep (polypay), then dyed it and crocheted the blanket to give to them as a gift (none of them could process wool). While it was beautiful, I was counting ALL of the time! Puts a bit of a "wet blanket" on the enjoyment of that last crochet process. ha! Love your podcast.
Wow I am amazed that your son will be 16 already 😊 It seems like yesterday they were all little ones! Or that's how I think of them. The socks you knit for his birthday are beautiful 😊 Amy.
Hi Amy, its been so lovely to spend some knitting time with you on this cozy Sunday morning here in Australia. I love the way your cardigan is coming together, the colour is so beautiful!
HI Amy, how did you block out the purple baby blanket? I have never tried blocking acrylic yarn before and wondered how you got the lace to open up so nicely. It almost looks knitted!
Hi Vicky! I meant to mention how I blocked it, but forgot. 🤦♀ I used an iron on the steam setting, and held the iron a few inches away from the blanket. The steam really helps it to block out & lay flat. It was really helpful with this blanket to get the stitches to open up & lay flat.
Your blankiet is stunning. Love the colors you chose.
Lol I am just now watching this episode and I have a fly flying back and forth between me crocheting on the couch and my door. Love your works.

Such a pleasure to watch your videos and see your gorgeous projects.
Amy, The baby blanket is Gorgeous! Your quilt-look afghan is beautiful! But I guess I would much rather count my stitches then weave in ends. 🥰

Those slippers were/are quite popular where I'm from.
If I recall correctly, the ladies used Phentex yarn, which is truly indestructible 😂
