    Beautiful Chilo. You don't really know how cute you are in that wedding gown. Your analysis are top-notch. I was shopping for a shoe because back in Nigeria my size is 45. Here, the maximum size you can see is 27. I had to waka around before I saw 28. Even when i tested it and bought it with the hope that it will expand, it is really tightinh. Its not really a place for black people to sync immediately. But its a very nice country. As a black person, you just need to cordinate yourself, do what is expected of you and gradually you will succeed. The racism is there but not that harmful as it is in other countries. I will say that despite all odds, Japan is a perfect model of how a country should be. I wish its my country.

    • @Chilotalks
      @Chilotalks  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You have actually summed it up. Japan is such a model country to be honest and having travelled a lot in recent times and able to do comparison with other countries and I can tell for fact that Japan is truly phenomenal 🙌

    Well said. I was surprised by how hot Japan is 🥵, I thought i had escaped the hot weather in Nigeria even this spring is hot. For food , i just carry around pepper everywhere i go or like you said i just cook.

    Hi chilo, please I want to get some information from you about the tourist visa to Singapore from Japan and how many months or years they give.am planning on a vacation. I done tire😅😅

    • @Chilotalks
      @Chilotalks  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's the I don tire for me 😂😂. From my own experience, it looks like Singapore uses authorized agents (Wetin dem dey call dem again sef 😫). So I didn't have to go to their embassy, my lab member just searched online and found one trustworthy agency whom we used, you submit all the required documents to the said person who will give corrections where necessary and then proceed to apply for the visa on your behalf. The visa came out not so long and I think they gave about 1 month or so (I am not entirely sure about the duration but I am definitely sure it's not up to one year visa sha 😂). Hopefully this helps

      Food stuff? I don't actually know if she has a social media handle as it's her number I use to reach her on WhatsApp or phonecall. I am a bit skeptical about putting people's phone numbers on the internet, so please send an email to chilotalks@gmail.com asking for the number, I will send it to you.

    Nice one Chilo!!🔥🔥
    It’s like the only bubbly city in Japan is Tokyo oh…
    I’ve been seeing a lot of Tokyo tourist vlogs and I’ll just be wondering “Is it the same Japan Chilo said is very quiet?”😂😂😂

    • @Chilotalks
      @Chilotalks  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Lmao 🤣🤣🤣, I don't even know what to reply that will explain it best. It's safe to say that Japan's quietness is better experienced than explained 😂

  • @uchemoses5793

    Very interesting video.
    My experiences so far:
    - Hair: I cut my hair. No problem here.
    - Weather: I agree with you that it can be very hot when it's hot, and most especially humid. When it's cold, it's very cold. The heater or air con (set at low temperature) must always be on, else it gets cold again. I have come to understand why masks are worn most times, and I do wear masks especially at train stations and inside the trains.
    - Fashion: While in Nigeria, I wasn't even a fashionista. So, I don't think too much about it. Fortunately, just like you, I'm not on the big side, so I get my sizes pretty well.
    - Food: I don't cook Japanese dishes because they are small in quantity, involve a lot of small small materials yet take a long time to prepare. I eat any kind of Japanese food, but won't cook any. Thank God for Shinjinku Halal Store.
    - Dating: No idea here. I didn't have a girlfriend while in Nigeria, so I don't even know what it is like to be in a relationship in the first place.
    - Religion: I found a Catholic Church, then a local Japanese church which had English service then an international church and finally, RCCG. Google search and asking other black Africans got me to know about them. Yes about the irreligious nature of the Japanese, which I like. Everyone should keep his or her religious views to him or herself. This has been my mantra even while in Nigeria.
    - Vibe: Before coming, I thought I was an introvert only to realise that where my introverteness stop is where theirs starts. I have gotten used to it as it provides quietness. In return, I use the time to focus on myself and self-development.
    - Makeup: Na man I be.

      Wooow, thank you for taking the time out to time your experiences for me on all the aspects I touched on in the video. It's really nice to read and hear a male's perspective on struggles too. Interesting conversation 😁
