Obvious reptard Overlords abode! But what's down there probably everything from embryo's to human processing! INTERGALACTIC SCMORGEZBORED please forgive my spelling on that one.
I once had a job in here for a couple of months. The air in there was nice despite it being snowy winter weather outside. Wore a t-shirt all the time. Relatively dust-free though poorly lit in a few parts of the main passage areas. Easy to navigate...once you learn the passages. Only problem was the infrequent problem of car theft (as security cameras are few and between in there). The site does have security, though. An interesting worksite.
I volunteered there once. For a full day, we worked as a team assembling charity packages that would be donated to a charity organization. The parking spots were located down hill from those rock wall supports in little parking lots.
JC Nichols had there underground facility for 33 years till the ceiling collapsed. Im currently documenting and exploring the former site. 4 feet of water throughout. I found the entrance in the woods by accident. Been abandoned 30 years and the electrical wires are still on the walls. The facility is totally forgotten about, very little vandalism, its a tomb. Looks alot like subtropolis except the darkness is absolute . Been researching and exploring alone....on a homemde boat. It sometimes will bring out the primal fear in ya, so eerie but I know no one is in there. 25acres to explore and I've only just begun.
@@xcalibur9_ Spent x-mas night down there constructing a boat out of random stuff I could find. Primarily used 4 tires on some really crappy wood. Sailed around by some flooded offices and into a area I've dubbed 'Blackwater'. There is no oxygen in this area, at all. So my breathing equipment really helps out exploring that area. The most F_cked up thing I have ever found is located in that area. The water is 3 feet deep at this door along a wall. The door is rusted open so its easy to get through. Inside is a hallway that goes right at the end, then another right, and another right till your behind that door that is rusted open. In the center of this is a cinderblock room with a door that is welded shut. Who ever welded this door wasn't a genius cause this place had hanging ceilings that have rotted away. Pulled myself up to look into this room and I see old Crt monitors on one entire wall. Old security office, cool, but why was the door...oh...oh crap. Inside the water are two skeletons lying face down. They still have shoes on. Somebody never wanted this to be found. There is also a body floating in the offices, a explorer that succumbed to carbon monoxide more than likely. I've been documenting and recording all my finds so someone can do something about those missing people. I still have alot to explore. Last time I was there about a week ago I got carbon monoxide poisoning again. Almost didn't make it out.
Years ago, the company I used to work for, stored some product there. I had to go over periodically go over and get samples. It was nice going in the summer because the tunnels are at about 60 degrees all year round. There is more underground storage over in Independence called GeoSpace. I don't know if Hunt owns that one or not.
@@kyleroberts6619 I was inside yesterday doing a commercial truck delivery. The dock worker I spoke with was 10 feet away and smoking a cigarette and I couldn't smell any second hand smoke.
The enviroment temps are different--for film that's good it will not get old and change in color as photos do with time. With the enviroment temps. Same goes for most products down there.

People have been living and storing things in cave since the beginning of time; i.e. the Dead Sea Scrolls were in found in jars of clay, hidden in caves.
6:58 This man enjoys his workers being in a dark cave without windows, i have never seen someone get so happy about that factor

That's scary stuff. Are you still alive? I hope you are doing well!

There is another one over in Lenexa/Olathe area. not as big but just as cool.
My dad works here now. Really cool
Sounds like some wicked ish here!!! What’s really going on?!!!!
It's weird seeing your dad in a travel channel documentary from 15 years ago
Who is your dad, and does he know Cathy "Chewing"? Is that a real person, this looks bogus
Got damn this looks so old!!!!
I shouldn't feel old at 24. WHY THOO!!??
I hope the changing times have instigated tight security there now.
I sure hope they have good Security there.
What about earth quakes ?
Believe it or not, underground is one of the safest places you can be in an earthquake.
I just delivered frozen pizza in a commercial truck to this location.
What about ventilation? I didn't see any ducting or anything
Its very well ventilated. If you havent been inside I highly recommend, as the information provided in this video is HIGHLY out of date.
They have paintballing at Jaegers.

@@logalogalog it honestly is probably more ventilated then outside to be honest
@@logalogalog I have to drive here Monday. What can I expect?
This will be the first training video they show you about the history of the backrooms. X3
This too strange. Why storage underground and building tunnels underground through out the country.

It would cut down on heating and cooling costs more stable environments no weathering issues
