What is missing is that you seem not not include all of the translations that have existed in English that you are counter arguing. It makes your videos weaker. I have watched some of them and am surprised why you would not stand up for your knowledge by laying our clearly some of the translations that have existed for decades. The first true english translation was George Sale centuries ago, then you have from last century Marmaduke, Mohsin Khan, Yusuf etc. What would be much more profound is having a table which shows at least 2 other translations next to each other along with yours. This way its absolutely clear. By making blanket statement that all these translators were wrong seems a bit strange as they have existed for decades. With all due respect you just showed up on TH-cam and your translations are appearing out of nowhere. Do you have any reference of any previous scholar over the past 1000+ years who match what you are saying? Any reference at all? Secondly are you also stating that all the interpretors/translators are wrong? So everyone for the past centuries are wrong and your the one who is right? Dont get me wrong I have enjoyed watching your videos - but you could do a better job especially when your translations seem to be the exact opposite. Your continued argument of "abrahamic locution" - its an argument used by Roman Catholics (" The Roman Catholic concept of interior locution includes just an inner voice heard by the recipient. In the Abrahamic religions, the term is used to refer to the process by which God reveals knowledge of himself, his will, and his divine providence to the world of human beings.) - so what are you saying we need to think like Roman Catholics? Let me also give an example of the word Locution and what it actually means - anyone who is American or well even British will get what it means by this simple example: If your in the the southern United States or born in the Southern States - they have a habit of saying "y'all" when she's talking to her family could be described as locution - it's a word she habitually uses in particular situations. ... You can also use the noun locution when you're talking about the way a person pronounces words." Lastly, also when if you are a true an academic you provide references - its like submitting thesis - where are the scholarly folks who agree with your interpretations? If this took you months - and your are handing us on a "silver platter" (you state this at 22:23) - where is the actual proof and references? You have no references in any of your videos.
Thank you for taking the time to provide such valuable feedback and advice. Truly I enjoyed your comment. Let me deal with the issues one at a time, to the extent possible: 1. You say: "Do you have any reference of any previous scholar over the past 1000+ years who match what you are saying? Any reference at all?" Having something exist for decades or even centuries does not have any bearing on its error-free status. To include so many of the translations would consume so much time, and would make the videos less appealing to our audience on TH-cam. In later videos, we iniclude many of the translations, and it caused the videos to be long and tedious for our audience. In our written material, which is yet to be published, we provide a lot more background and historical material. 2. You say: "Secondly are you also stating that all the interpreters/translators are wrong? So everyone for the past centuries are wrong and your the one who is right?" The answer to this one is very simple: Anyone who does not use the organic Quranic methodology that is extracted from within the Quran, to interpret or translate the Quran, is hopelessly doomed to be wrong, NOT BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE ARE LESS SMART OR THAT THEIR STATUS IN ALLAHH'S JUDGMENT IS LESS THAN MINE, but because they don't use a methodology that Allahh requires in the Quran. So, Yes! They are all wrong! Just like anyone who interpreted gravity (before Isaac Newton) as a mysterious force without subjecting to the laws of Newton is wrong! And Just like anyone who treated stomach ulcers as a permanent affliction before the discovery of H.Pylori is wrong! Such is the path of discovery and knowledge. 3. You say: "so what are you saying we need to think like Roman Catholics?" This is just a weird argument! You are saying that the Catholics used the word "locution" in their theology, and therefore, because this channel talks about Abrahamic Locution, then we are telling people to be like Catholics... Totally illogical argument on your part! It does not warrant a reply because your premise is just plain illogical! 4. You say: "if you are a true an academic you provide references - its like submitting thesis - where are the scholarly folks who agree with your interpretations?" I am not sure if you are aware of the history of science and discovery, but I will provide a few counter-examples to your advice. We claim that this 3ilm (field of knowledge) is brand new, that it has not been described before. This is like Ibn Khaldun who introduced humanity to sociology without any references, or like Ibn Sina who introduced his own medical discoveries and "Qaanoon" (medical laws) to humanity without references, or like Einstein who published his research on the theory of Relativity without any references. Your condition to have existing scholars approve of what we discuss on this channel or else our new 3ilm cannot be valid just does not make any sense, historically. Furthermore, this 3ilm is a divine 3ilm that is extracted from the Quran, the divine scripture revealed and preserved by Allahh. No human being is authorized or even qualified to be a judge over the content of the Quran. We invite you and other scholars to understand what we offer on this channel, and then to discuss whether or not our claims of "being fully grounded in the Quran" are true or not. As long as we prove fidelity to the Quran, then no other qualifications are required... Fidelity to the Quran is the only conversation we accept to engage in. After that, scholars are invited to learn this new 3ilm and then to use it in their own research and discovery. We do not seek their pre-approval, and we do not accept them to bring their man-made processes and criteria to judge the Quran. My advice: Please watch several segments on this channel, and become familiar with the methodology we use and the extensive background information we offer to our subscribers. I am sure that if you watch a dozen or so videos, in sequence, and all the way to the end of each video, you will be impressed that our translations are based on solid scholarship and that our interpretations are firmly grounded in the Quran itself. Thank you again Regards
What a brilliant observation - I took it for granted who the killer was without paying attention to what the Qur’an is saying and what’s not there but preconceived a conclusion in my mind from the tafsir authorities copying details of this story form outside sources that’s not in the Qur’an. Its so clear I can’t believe we paid so little attention to the words in the Qur’an. This has resulted in wellsprings of knowledge coming out of every Ayat. Absolutely brilliant - and the concept of nested interpretation is a huge discovery - a beautiful discovery that allows the Qur’an to be interpreted on its own terms and to preserve the meanings - this is an absolutely brilliant discovery!
i have always noticed alot of previous scholars lack in the etiquette in conveying knowledge , it had a lot of self entitlement. Perhaps it was based on a lot of distorted references. The thing that make this ilmu so far is that it has a tone of contentment and trust upon the wisdom of God through the methodological understanding of the scripture. may Allah swt always keep us in the guidance of prevailing truth.
Subhanallah, this was so beautifully explained. The lessons that Allah teaches us are so marvelous and profound that they open doors within. For years we went through the interpretations and felt something was amiss. Never felt disheartened by Allah because our souls feel His immense mercy and glory but felt sure that the message was relayed inadequately. Jazakallah Dr. Hany for shedding light on these verses! May Allah bless you and increase your understanding that you may continue to help others to see the truth, Ameen.
One of the best segment introducing critical thinking and patience in understanding the scripture. Rewatching after a long time, still it amazes with new understandings that i haven't received before. And also finding many gifts dropped throughout the segment.
I wish a university with established credentials must honour such meticulous scholars with Ph.D who endeavour to hole the putt gently and research based studies like this one are awarded befittingly.
Thank you dear brother. The way you read the way I read the Quran. Allah doesn’t give details about names or gender. But He wants us to focus on the message and lessons behind the verses. Your videos are very helpful to me!
Watching ur videos we are getting new understanding of Qur'an, I know its difficult to digest ur interpretation of Qur'an but we are learning with you. Almost all tafseer refers it as Habil and Qaabeel story and the ghurab is crow showing him how to burry the body of his dead brother. Allah knows best
Thank you Prof Atchan, for another enlightening session. May Allah ease those non-native Arabic yet make a serious effort to understand Quran in a genuine way in pleasing Allah. Ameen
May ALLAH Subhanahuwat’ala guide us all to the right path . Thank You Sir for getting the truth of the Quranic stories as they have been told by ALLAH Subhanahuwat’ala to our beloved Prophet MOHAMAD Sallallahu alleyhi wassallam to reach to all of humanity. Superb effort by you to open our minds and hearts 🙏🏻👍
Salaamun Alaikum Dr Hany, truly amazing story and has practical relevance to our own life even in his day and age. I have been puzzled by the corrupted version of the story which was about incest but I was scared to ask questions at the time. I have listened to this video few times and yet it is amazing each time. I want to share a personal experience with all. Not long ago, in my hometown (100% muslims) there was a sect who claimed that Salaat is doing dikr. They built a masjid and will sit around with a tasbih and exalt Allahh (I am not saying this is correct just that, that was their understanding). The scholars of my town made takfir on them and the general public broke into their houses and kicked them out of the homes and the town. They justified this heinous act through Islam. It is as if this story repeated itself in my hometown. This is happening inside families too. Rabbana! Count us among those who are kind-hearted and tolerant to fellow human beings.
Thanks a lot Dr. Hany from bottom of my heart for providing this valuable knowledge to us. Since my childhood I have always questtoned the arbitrariness that has been shown in these verses. I always thought that Allah T'Aala will never be arbitrary in his action. But I didn't find answer for that. Thanks for answering one of the biggest doubts that I had. Alhumdulillah.
Praises to Allah how has provided Dr Hany to ways to extract truth from Quran. I never thought that this story has such a detailed meaning. Now I understand why the interpretation was corrected by not only followers of previous scriptures but also by the so called pious predecessors among followers of final massinger pbuh.

thank you so much for this valuable work. We need such a critical and disciplined reader of our Holy text. I appreciate the call to tolerance in this analysis. And, I hope one day soon you can unpack the Aya 17 in Surat Luqman (promotion of virtue and prevention of vice) which is possibly misunderstood and used by some in Muslim communities and nations to oppress and police others
Not gonna lie through these type of explanations stories in quran have whole another depth of maturity and teachings that actually is intended for everything, I mean we all by now heard about the "mind your own business" philosophy but this one in quran hits differently.
I will not say previous tafseer is corrupted but it just their own ijtihad based with their knowledge back in their time. They are respected and also has lots of contribution. Now with modern interpretation, we can revive again the spirit to learn Quran, the same with them, also with the helps of traditional scholar if possible. Learning together is better. :D
All the videos of Marvelous Quran is so fascinating and so illuminating. Thanks to All-mighty Allah for assigning knowledge to you . We must know the true interpretations of as many Ayah of the Quran . Allah ( SWT ) ‘s signs are the only way to the truth. I hope and pray that one day all the In formations in the videos of Marvelous Quran can be gathered in a book and published . It will be so great . Thank you so much and May Allah ( SWT ) reward you now and after .
You mention what you disagree with and Dr. Atchan will clear up insha Allah. With education you have to be patient, and analytical, ask Allah for guidance
Just as Allah revealed/guided the secrets in the verses of the old scripture to the Queen of Sabah; same was done to this Killer in this story. And I am pleased Alhamdulillah Allah is guiding us to the secrets of the Quran as well now. May Allah Guide you and give barakah in your life and your journey Dr. Hany. It's really amazing what you have discovered and making the Muslim Ummah aware. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and discoveries with us.
Assalamu Alaikum, I've been observing your findings and have to say they are intriguing and enjoyable, since it's a relatively new findings am still observing them rather than embracing yet. I was a bit confused at 29:37 on what you stated about Adam AS, "if there is any such person". I didn't understand why you mentioned that phrase about Adam AS? Could you please clarify. Jazakallah khair
If you have a little bit knowledge of Arabic and read the verse you will know the meaning inshallah but this gentleman he changes the words and trying to make something different than it’s basic translation thanks may Allah give all of us hidaya
Salaamun Alaykum We invite you to keep watching the videos in this channel. You will be surprised at how correct you are about "making something different than its basic translation" Regards
If Allah SWT wants to give a methaphor or analogy He will say it. There are a lot of parables in Quran and those are clear methaphores that serve as analogy and give clear understanding. Allah SWT dont tell fables, all stories in Quran are true events and Allah said, nobody speak more true than HIM. May Allah have mercy and guide us.
You say: "If Allah SWT wants to give a methaphor or analogy He will say it. " How did you make that decision? I am asking to learn because I could not find anything in the Quran that states that rule.
I feel that after reading many of “ Tafseer “ , my decision to read only ( different) translations ( without explanation and skipping additions in brackets) helped me learn Quran better and deeper. Perhaps this is the reason, I feel more comfortable with Dr Hany explanations as he is adding to my learning. I actually felt that “ Tafseer “ Pulls Quran from something “non earthly” to “earth” and makes it very limited.
Every video has make me think, reflect on my new perception how great of my Rabb is. Keep on Dr Hanny. We need much more realistics explanation other than old fabel and children story. We sure that Quran is much much deeper than story to make children sleep . With my deep pure open minded i say Many Thank a lot Dr Hanny. One request. Please, can you explain the verses about women on period ( menstruation time ). Do women really cannot doing prayer on menstruated period ( old corrupted scripture judging women even much more cruel )? Do God really avoiding His Own servant to worship Him ? Thanks again Dr .
Assalamualaikum Dr Hany Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It crossed my mind that "Qatala" in Arabic also means to kill someone's reputation in the meaning of اذل و لعن . If we fit this meaning in the above story of Ibnai Aadam, then it means that this story is linked to the varse no 12 surah hujuraat where "Gheebah" is equated with dead brother's meat. The reference to "his brother" and "dead" is probably a MARKING.
Thank you. Your interpretation makes absolute sense. And the fact that you highlighted the way the Quranic narration cut from the story of the three “men” to the Children of Israel made everything clear. Historically, the Israelites had a tendency to “kill” metaphorically or otherwise, non believers. And justify it with some religious dogma. They are still doing the same thing today. One can easily see why the story would get corrupted, as the story is highlighting what some people would prefer to hide. It is unfortunate that some Muslims got to and are doing the same thing. This is a very powerful story to get across to “excitable” people.
Need to apologise for the initial assessment. The identity of the killer is deliberately left ambiguous. Who the killer is, is relative to which group we wish to consider. 1. Group “Chosen” against “non-Chosen”, previous apply. 2. Intra group Chosen, the opposite would apply. Amazing, the depth of the story. Subhanallah.
I wonder if the purpose of God sending this dhkr is directly connected to the present moment in which Muhammad is delivering the message and being threatened by those who reject it.
@@MarvelousQuran Ameen thank you, and would you prove the tafser of olden scholars came from Isralai because they were aware the Quran can only be understood through Hadith alone, so please before you make blanket statement about them look into the Hadith as it has explanation of all the stories in the Quran
Thank you very much brother, I wish there is a platform or a forum where we can use this methodology and Learn better ways to communicate with Quran. May Allah reward you
Assalamu alaikum i am also a quran lover and i love to read and listen quran. I have listen many scholars but translating quran arabic and interpretation is two different things what is clear is the scholar interpretation part of quran is mostly copied even most of the scholars don't try it or they confused so they leave it as they are. I listened dr israr ahmed whose main focus to wake up from the call of quran and he also did interpretation but according to his brain limitation and the other one is sheikh emran hossein who loves to do so but his range is very high and he talks more of his own thinking but he may be somewhere correct or incorrect at various places and now i have listened you and after listening at some point of quran stories and some surah ayaat interpretation are seems to be correct like but only allah know how much and how many are correct but i will watch ur videos insha allah allah help me and Muslim ummah to guide us to the straight path.
Subhanallah! Fascinating insights, dear Dr Hany. I'm amazed at the many layers of interpretation in the Quran, and there are some truly profound lessons that we can learn from this Abrahamic locution methodology. It does very much feel like we are discovering the "qurra", as you say. May God reward you immensely for the lifetime of effort you have put into understanding the Quran, and for sharing your insights with us all for free! Jazakallah Khair! Dear brother, you mentioned a hadith about "ashab-un-nar" which seems to have been overlooked or ignored by the mufasireen. This is very interesting indeed. Please could you share the reference to this hadith? Either in a comment or in a future video, which ever is easier for you, dear brother. I look forward to more fascinating and thought provoking vidoes, Inshallah!
Masha Allah i watched one video of yours and get addicted to your concept of understanding the Qur'an i used to watch so many scholars on TH-cam everyone of them have their own understanding and knowledge some of them have really interesting views about the Quranic stories totally different what we read in tafseers i will just mentioned one of my favourite shekh imran Hussain Honestly i started with your very first video and decided to finish all in your chanel and insha'Allah i am going to start studying the Qur'an also in the way i sposed to study befor i swear i have Lots of repect for you and your mission My all prayers will be with you insha'Allah i will remember you in my prayers i have so many thing to tell you butt i will just leave it for the next time after trying to understand what Qur'an really wants us to know now i have so many questions in my mind to ask butt right now one request from you Please i desperately want to know the story of king Solomon from your point of understanding i wish you have a segment on this please 🙏 i will wait for your response
Dear Doctor Hani, This is just 3 days today I started following you. I already covered few of your videos. Your explanation and your methodology makes sense to me more than the previous tafseers. For example engles questioning God and reminding God as if they know better Him. Please can you share all your previous segments with me for I found it difficult to get all. If you are on telegram where I can easily download I would like to join. Thanks
@ Alfuns Kamara Welcome aboard. Alhamdulillah. Visit the channel page, and click on the Videos menu link. You should see all the available videos in reverse chronological order. The older ones should be at the very bottom. Regards
A person who wants to learn the Quran will invest in learning the Arabic language. An in depth knowledge of the Quranic Arabic (FusHa) is essential for the understanding of the Quran. Then you will not need for such devient "scholars" like this one here nor anyone else. You can do it yourself!
@Farid Farid Ok Friend! We heard you. You have the right to your opinion. Because we assume that you are a knowledgeable person, especially in "Fussha", could you please identify the specific evidence that led you to use the label "deviant" ? We assume that you meant the Arabic term "Faasiq" فاسق... Do you know what the this term indicates according to the Quran? Furthermore, we assume that you watched the whole video (if you did not, pleasse don't judge without comprehensive understanding)... Did you understand the detailed Arabic linguistic analysis that we provided, in this video and in others? You do know what linguistic analysis means, right? We advise you to watch the whole video (again), and others on this channel, so that you develop a better picture. You advise people to invest time in learning the Arabic language... If you invest your time in watching our videos with an objective outlook, then you will have the chance to gather more evidence against "deviant" scholars... Makes sense, right? What's the harm? If you are sincere in helping fellow Muslims, please help them learn from what you gather of evidence against us... And then maybe we will learn from you too. Thank you
@@MarvelousQuran I speak Arabic (Yem) and English fluently. I also studied the Quranic literature (Arabic FusHa). And no, I didn't translate "devient" from the Arabic word "fusuq." You are twisting the Arabic words to entertain the "sheeple" who don't understand the Arabic of the Quran. I am not saying you should necessarily follow the previous interpretations from the previous "scholars." But you know clearly what you are doing is wrong. Why don't you open an Arabic channel discussing the tafseer of the Quran (*no English or any other language) and then we will see if the interpretation you offer makes sense in its Arabic form. Again, open an Arabic channel and provide your interpretation in Arabic, both verbally and in writing. Then after doing that, you can translate it into another language!
@Farid Farid You say: "you show no respect to the prophet peace be upon him because you never make the Salam on him after mentioning him, in all your videos!" Ok. Now we know that you are lying, and every member of this community is just laughing at you.
Salam! Thank you for your hard work and a new perspective on verses of the Quran. I am finding your method very interesting and some explanations are absolutely mind blowing making much more sense. However, it is disturbing to me that I cannot find any information about you online. I would like to know more about you and your background. I have searched the internet but cannot find any reference to you except your videos on this channel. Also, where can I find more material on Abrahamic Locution? Is there any published material on this topic for ready reference while reading the Quran and searching for deeper understanding? Thanking you
Salamun Alaykum (Not Salam!) There is no one who has talked about the Abrahamic locution because Allahh revealed it to me. It's not published because it is divine knowledge that I don't want to subject to human approval or rejection. My background does not matter if you have 2 things: 1. Critical thinking (ability to evaluate the methodology and evidence) 2. Support from Allahh to open your heart to receive The methodology is 100% Quranic, and clearly supported by instructions from within the Quran (see video on this) This 3ilm is not for everyone. It is like divine rain. Your soil has to be ready to produce goodly fruits. Only Allahh knows this. As far as my background, rest assured that I am highly, highly educated in many, many fields, alhamdulillah. But at the end of the day, it's not about me. It's between the receiver and Allahh, and Allahh knows, and Allahh chooses. All I can do is to put it out there. I advise you to keep watching because we have barely started. If you need to ask other questions, please use the email marvelousquran@gmail.com Regards
@Lets Think We know you are trolling. But we will answer you anyway... Allahh SWT reveals divine guidance to every human being. We offer the evidence to support this knowledge based on a methodology. This methodology is not used by anyone else, because they have simply failed to recognize that the Quran requires its own methodology, and that it provided such methodology. Therefore, we provide the evidence here, and we explain to people the methodology, and we let them decide. Stop trolling. We know what you are doing
@@MarvelousQuran I stand corrected. Wa Alaykum asSalam. Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your view. Let me explain. I am not of Arabic background. I am sure you will agree that there is a lot of questionable and damaging content out there. I am merely trying to steer clear of such content. Thus my search for information about you, the person, and the very interesting and very different approach that you are introducing in this series. May Allah swt open all our hearts and minds and guide us to knowledge and ways that benefit, steer us clear of all that is harmful and grant us the ability to know the difference. Ameen.
As never had any satisfaction of any interpretation regarding this Story before. I recognized this Video has to be THE BEST of all your video. No one has given such a explanation is so beautiful which befitting to narrative of this Quranic story. Masha Allah. I have 3 serious questions to ask. 1. دَابَّة الأَرْض An-Naml 82, does this means the Scripture ? 2. Is Adam is a Metaphor ? 3. Is Isa(Pbuh) coming back? according to Quran
@ Mohomad Sheriffdeen Maaaan! You are one smart dude! Ma Sha Allah! It's talking about what you're watching on this channel, and the work of smart people like you!
The comments (dissenting comments) by specul8tor (from one year ago) is very weak. Their argument (at best) is to rely on the opinion of past predecessors of the, simply because they "past predecessors". He (specul8tor) is following the herd (herd mentality). We are grateful to Allah to follow the Quran (alone).
I'm struggling to understand what aberration means google:a departure from what is normal, usual, or expected, typically an unwelcome one can you explain it further
Yep, Muslims around me believe, there's one group who superior because Allah. It makes no sense for me, but gradually I accept that believe, it make us try less to become better in aspects which they better from us. Yeah probably because how we interpreted the Quran before.
I'm trying to figure out.. how could be the Jewish folklores such as the story of cain and abel somewhat matched with the 'surface' wording (or meaning) of Qur'an. Is this coincidence? And I would like to make a request of the Ashabul Kahfi (the seven sleepers) story in surah Al Kahf. Thanks anyway.
@ Yasfi My friend... Notice that you called the story of "Ashabul Kahf" "the seven sleepers". You have already made the first wrong step down the wrong "rabbit hole"... ;) Makes sense?
Assalammualikum Dr. Hany! Correct me if I'm wrong. Is there by any chance that the mortal (ghurab) in Surah 5 is the one that brought to life all people? I also took the screen shot of your lectures for my references! A million thanks for sharing the precious gifts of Allah..
االسلام عليكم Dr Hany after watching all your videos I feel this story is talking about musa and the old man in mad’an please correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks
There has been 2 times in my life that my faith was shaken and I needed to configure myself. Once when the scandal of brother Nouman Ali khan came to light and second one is when I started watching your videos... I keep debating myself that you are over exaggerating and forcing conclusions but to be honest there are no other source to verify. So I am going to continue learning from you and hope to reconcile... I can not imagine all out ulemas to be so wrong that they could not interpret the meaning of simple word such as “arz”. Also how would to translate the meaning of samawat e walarz which is repeated numerous times in Quran? Thank you
Salamun Alaykum... " my faith was shaken and I needed to configure myself" ... This takes place when people place their trust in people, be it modern preachers, or ulemas of past. This is why I keep telling people: Trust Allahh and have confidence in his book and words. In this channel, I never ask you to trust me. I always tell people: The speaker or presenter does NOT matter. It's the evidence. It's the Quran. Keep the faith with certainty in Allahh, alone. Everyone else will fall short somewhere, some time. Regards
I'm confused. Why would the one whose offering was accepted, wanted to kill the one whose offering was not accepted? If it's jealousy or envy, it should be the other way round. If I were pious, why would I be jealous to others that are not? Please explain. Yes probably I'm slow in understanding your interpretation. I admit that.
Also, Dr. Could this story be a metaphorical story to refer to : 1. Bani Israel as the brother whose act of worship was already accepted? 2. The killed brother to refer to "gentiles" in general? 3. This third one could be a stretch but could the Gurab be referring to our prophet or any other prophet who tried to show the "pious brother" the error of their ways? (I call this one a stretch since there's no proof of repentance among the Bani Israel to the best of my knowledge) And Allah knows best
Your teaching are so challenging and correct in one way or another though I have one question why are there those you call corrupted why aren't they removed because if it so the whole tafsir will be canceled and changed?
@Hajira Mahomed I never ask you to take my word or to rely on my credibility. I always present the evidence, for people who reflect. My credibility is NOT an issue at all.... Your faith in the Quran, the words of Allahh, is THE only issue. The whole point of this channel is that we follow a Quranic methodology (not opinions) to interpret the Quran... What exactly bothers you about this? I ask Allahh to open your heart to see the evidence from the Quran and then decide. Please continue this conversation in line with "Qawmin Yatafakkaroon"... We look forward to your constructive criticism. Regards
@Lets Think You say: "but they still may not be able to acquire the proper education if not gtiven at least the sources behind what you're saying". We provide the sources for everything we present. The Quran itself is the primary source Please provide specific detail, lest people think you are trolling

If this took you months - and your are handing us on a "silver platter" (you state this at 22:23) - where is the actual proof and references? You have no references in any of your videos.
Thank you for taking the time to provide such valuable feedback and advice. Truly I enjoyed your comment.
Let me deal with the issues one at a time, to the extent possible:
1. You say: "Do you have any reference of any previous scholar over the past 1000+ years who match what you are saying? Any reference at all?"
Having something exist for decades or even centuries does not have any bearing on its error-free status.
So everyone for the past centuries are wrong and your the one who is right?"
The answer to this one is very simple: Anyone who does not use the organic Quranic methodology that is extracted from within the Quran, to interpret or translate the Quran, is hopelessly doomed to be wrong, NOT BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE ARE LESS SMART OR THAT THEIR STATUS IN ALLAHH'S JUDGMENT IS LESS THAN MINE, but because they don't use a methodology that Allahh requires in the Quran.
3. You say: "so what are you saying we need to think like Roman Catholics?"
This is just a weird argument! You are saying that the Catholics used the word "locution" in their theology, and therefore, because this channel talks about Abrahamic Locution, then we are telling people to be like Catholics... Totally illogical argument on your part! It does not warrant a reply because your premise is just plain illogical!
4. You say: "if you are a true an academic you provide references - its like submitting thesis - where are the scholarly folks who agree with your interpretations?"
I am not sure if you are aware of the history of science and discovery, but I will provide a few counter-examples to your advice.
Thank you again

He has no knowledge to interpret the Quran and he is using his own ideas to make things up. May Allah guide him before it is too late.
AlhamdulilLaahh for this 3lm. Every repeat watch leads to additional insight. Priceless!
Alhamdulillah now alquran is alive as it during our prophet time.
Revisiting the segment opened up new insights why the stories matters in the Quran . Alhamdulillah
I revisited this segment to remind myself something but ended up knowing more then what I understood first time.
And also finding many gifts dropped throughout the segment.
watching it again Dr hany, thank you for sharing the reminder about it today 🙂
I wish a university with established credentials must honour such meticulous scholars with Ph.D who endeavour to hole the putt gently and research based studies like this one are awarded befittingly.
This must have taken great courage to go against the common thought and convictions. May Allah reward you for it.
Salaamun3alaykum. Re watching segment for the 2nd time. بإذن الله , so much more concepts have become clearer, الحمد لله
Thank you dear brother. The way you read the way I read the Quran. Allah doesn’t give details about names or gender. But He wants us to focus on the message and lessons behind the verses.
Your videos are very helpful to me!

Salamun alaykum, Alhamdulillah rewatching thank you for explaining Dr. Hany!
Ameen

You are most welcome
Every one of your lectures and investigations deserves a standing ovation
Amazing amazing segment, wow
Praises to Allah how has provided Dr Hany to ways to extract truth from Quran. I never thought that this story has such a detailed meaning. Now I understand why the interpretation was corrected by not only followers of previous scriptures but also by the so called pious predecessors among followers of final massinger pbuh.
I glad that i listen to this until the end. Thank you.
Thanks for listening. Regards

thank you so much for this valuable work.
Alhamdulillah, let us approach the Qur'an with an empty cup!

Allahuakbar.... this feels like wathching that film the sixth sense for the first time.
Not gonna lie through these type of explanations stories in quran have whole another depth of maturity and teachings that actually is intended for everything, I mean we all by now heard about the "mind your own business" philosophy but this one in quran hits differently.
Alhamdulillah

I was a bit confused at 29:37 on what you stated about Adam AS, "if there is any such person". I didn't understand why you mentioned that phrase about Adam AS?
Could you please clarify.

How do you understand this aya if ardh means scripture? :
7:24

i'm in that playlist as I'm typing right now.
btw, how do you clear up the difference between Al-kitab with Al-Ardh??
If you have a little bit knowledge of Arabic and read the verse you will know the meaning inshallah but this gentleman he changes the words and trying to make something different than it’s basic translation thanks may Allah give all of us hidaya

How did you make that decision?
Alhamdulillah
Assalamualaikum Dr Hany
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
May Allah guid us all our focus should be on the foundational versus as the Quran states it self.
Aameen
@@MarvelousQuran Ameen thank you, and would you prove the tafser of olden scholars came from Isralai because they were aware the Quran can only be understood through Hadith alone, so please before you make blanket statement about them look into the Hadith as it has explanation of all the stories in the Quran

Learn the methodology that we use my brother!
It is different than what others claim

A person who wants to learn the Quran will invest in learning the Arabic language. An in depth knowledge of the Quranic Arabic (FusHa) is essential for the understanding of the Quran. Then you will not need for such devient "scholars" like this one here nor anyone else. You can do it yourself!
@Farid Farid
Ok Friend!
@Farid Farid Fair enough... But you did not answer a single question
@Farid Farid
You say: "you show no respect to the prophet peace be upon him because you never make the Salam on him after mentioning him, in all your videos!"
Ok. Now we know that you are lying, and every member of this community is just laughing at you.
Interesting
My background does not matter if you have 2 things:
1. Critical thinking (ability to evaluate the methodology and evidence)
2. Support from Allahh to open your heart to receive
The methodology is 100% Quranic, and clearly supported by instructions from within the Quran (see video on this)
This 3ilm is not for everyone.
If you need to ask other questions, please use the email marvelousquran@gmail.com

Yep, Muslims around me believe, there's one group who superior because Allah.
It makes no sense for me, but gradually I accept that believe, it make us try less to become better in aspects which they better from us.
Yeah probably because how we interpreted the Quran before.
Does anyone know best video by Dr Hanny on Taqwa?
I'm trying to figure out.. how could be the Jewish folklores such as the story of cain and abel somewhat matched with the 'surface' wording (or meaning) of Qur'an. Is this coincidence? And I would like to make a request of the Ashabul Kahfi (the seven sleepers) story in surah Al Kahf. Thanks anyway.
We answered this question in the Video "What was the dream of Yussuf?" Happy discovery
@@MarvelousQuran Looking forward to your next video. May Allah guide us
@ Yasfi My friend... Notice that you called the story of "Ashabul Kahf" "the seven sleepers". You have already made the first wrong step down the wrong "rabbit hole"... ;)
Makes sense?
@@MarvelousQuran nice catch :) I'm assuming not all people familiar with Ashabul Kahf, Dr, so I used "seven sleepers".
No. The ghurab was searching in the scripture. Learning from it.
@@MarvelousQuran thank you for ur response. I’m glad you clarified it
االسلام عليكم
Dr Hany after watching all your videos I feel this story is talking about musa and the old man in mad’an please correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks
Al7amdulillahh!
Regards
Wow Dr Hany Alhamdulillah
Alhamdulillah
I'm confused. Why would the one whose offering was accepted, wanted to kill the one whose offering was not accepted? If it's jealousy or envy, it should be the other way round. If I were pious, why would I be jealous to others that are not? Please explain. Yes probably I'm slow in understanding your interpretation. I admit that.
It's OK Akhi. Plz watch again. I think you missed a few concepts... Keep trying
@@MarvelousQuran will wait till all ur full translation of the Quran out. Then can revisit all the stories that were told to fully understand.
Also, Dr. Could this story be a metaphorical story to refer to :
1. Bani Israel as the brother whose act of worship was already accepted?
2. The killed brother to refer to "gentiles" in general?
3. This third one could be a stretch but could the Gurab be referring to our prophet or any other prophet who tried to show the "pious brother" the error of their ways? (I call this one a stretch since there's no proof of repentance among the Bani Israel to the best of my knowledge)
And Allah knows best
Your teaching are so challenging and correct in one way or another though I have one question why are there those you call corrupted why aren't they removed because if it so the whole tafsir will be canceled and changed?
If I told that the well from which you are about to drink has been poisoned... Would you ask the same question?
One should check the man's credibility

@Lets Think
You say: "but they still may not be able to acquire the proper education if not gtiven at least the sources behind what you're saying".
We provide the sources for everything we present. The Quran itself is the primary source
Please provide specific detail, lest people think you are trolling
