I can’t be the only one who wanted to see the cake getting cut
I disliked because it didnt cut in the end, so unsatisfying and disappointing

I know! Fondant is kind of gross! I like that there's an alternative. I wonder about the taste of this cake: pretty much rice flour and water? Surely the same technique could be applied to other cakes! It must be traditional.
bonnie wood I know I love the steamed rice flour buns with sweet red bean paste inside. So good. I wonder if this tastes the same. I would be all over it. I kept telling myself I was going to make those buns.

Yesss, i find it really wasteful to put all this work into cakes and then not to eat the fondant, maybe this will change that

너무 예쁜 영상 잘봤어요! 그런데 그냥 bojagi라고 써도 될듯.. 일본애들은 뭐든지 다 지네말로 표현해서 세계로 퍼뜨리는데 우리나라는 왜 된장을 bean paste 라고 하고 떡을 rice cake라고 하고 어묵을 fish cake라고 하는지 모르겠어요 똠양꿍 뿌빳뽕커리 익숙해지면 다 알아듣고 씁니다 mukbang도 요즘 막 쓰잖아요~
심지어 일본에서도 보자기는 bojagi 라고 써요. 보자기 바느질 도서가 일본에서 출판된 걸 봤는데 그대로 쓰더라구요. 정말 mk k님 말씀에 200% 공감이에요. 굳이 영어로 바꿀 필요 없습니다. 김치는 김치고, 떡은 떡, 죽은 죽이지요.

@@minju6361 김치를 김치라고 하지 '절인배추에 고춧가루를 버무려 발효시킨 음식'이라고 설명을 해주는 게 더 열등감을 갖고있는 것 같은데요? 김치라고 해도 못알아듣겠지ㅜ 영어로 설명해줘야겠다ㅜ 하면서요. 일본하고 비교하는게 싫으면 다른나라 말하고 비교하면 되죠? 뿌빳뽕커리 팟타이 피자 뇨끼 뢰스티, 궁금하면 뭔지 알아서 알아본다구요~

The cake looks amazingly beautiful. I must say that I agree with many comments wanting to see the cake being cut. It would be even better to watch someone taking a bite out of the cake. 🍰 🍽
Barking Cookie N Cream _쿠크네 tasteless.. expensive.
Cheaper to get simple rice flour cake. The only thing good thing I like is the sweets or salted egg inside, outside is just too crumbly and tasteless.
for the sake of art, im giving it a 10/10. forget that this is food. the "cake" itself is doubtful. rice flour gets too hard when steamed like that --- plus the fact that it is practically dry before it was steamed as seen in this video😵 im not an expert but my tongue is already screaming no. even well-done rice cakes can have that bitter aftertaste depending on the variety and how it was prepared. THIS --- too questionable. as for that bean paste and flour 'fondant', it looks too smooth 🤔..but it may be possible, I'll have to give it a try. as for the taste, sweet beans should be nice..but again, that glutinous rice added to it. hopefully it tastes just like a regular mochi ☺..again, i'm not an expert; just another Asian.
