Because 2022 was a critical year for so many including baseball season, that must explain the reason to end baseball season of 2022 to have these SNY announcements on the 7 train for a time being.

I’m not saying I hate these announcements as I do think they’re interesting even though I don’t watch baseball, but I’m definitely not surprised and wouldn’t blame anyone for the hate these SNY announcements get.

These announcements honestly do bring cool humor and Met’s taste but they are kinda useless as not everyone riding cares about the Met’s regardless of their opinions, but also that many don’t care about baseball either. Also these announcements in some ways are annoying as they also can cut off important information from regular train stuff as well.

The SNY announcements are even worse than Awkwafina, and my buddy who lives near 82nd street walked a little farther to get the E when they were running those announcements.
