You are to hate everything that God hates. Every biblical leader stood up against evil and many even lost their lives for speaking against it. There is a reason Jesus says true believers will be hated and persecuted. Anyone struggling with an addiction. Ive been there. Struggled with porn for 20 years. The answer is not anything or step you can take. Its all in the cross. All has been done. The primary thing is 1. imputed righteousness. You are right before God only because of Jesus's blood 2.The law. Once you accept Jesus, you have no rules to follow but a life by his spirit. Rom.8. If you can understand these two... youll look for that addiction and not see it.
You are walking under the law, that's the reason. Once you come under grace, that thing cannot tempt you again. I've been there. Remember, God does not keep a record of a born again Christian's "sins" repentance for the believer is Turning away from the wrong. Not in fear of punishment, but embracing God instead.
Rm. 8. There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in christ Jesus for the law of the spirit in christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.
Literally been dealing with nicotine addiction the last 8 days, and today, I almost gave in at work. I went into a backroom and called out onto Jesus to take the cravings, take the addiction, take the temptation of the flesh and deliver me from it. I pray this multiple times a day.
Try Smokey Mountain pouches they’re like zins without nicotine or tobacco it helps with the oral fixation now I’ll say don’t drink coffee with it bc they’re caffeine pouches you’ll get a little hyper. But it helps.

Isaiah 64:6 ( So, don't be in fear. ) ask God to open your eyes to Grace. His grace is sufficient. I was a smoker, I used to drink, those two went fairly quickly, the one that became a challenge was porn. I fasted, prayed, but it persisted. The only thing that made it go away was the cross. I realized I was under the law in my thinking. I was trying to stop, instead of letting God do it. Your righteousness is Jesus. Not you or your actions.
I was always tempted with the past of my eating disorder and covering up with alcohol now with this ministry that God put in my path its helping me to read the word every day and pray and get very close to God my sin was in secret but now i rather have my relationship and love with God because the sin that was the devil was offering me it never filled me ,,God love fills me and i fell in love with God so much that i dont want to hurt his temple that is my body in Jesus name
After hearing this message the first time, I immediately called the VA to begin therapy in order to get to the root of my issues. BIG MISTAKE! Leave the bad past in the past! I am no longer doing therapy, instead, strengthening my relationship with God and doing SO MUCH BETTER!!❤❤❤
Same here! I was on psychiatric rx for 25 years. Abusing them, suicidal and addicted. Jesus Christ my redeemer savede and showedeba new way to live. I was saved in feb Got baptized two weeks ago. I have been addicted to pornograhpy for 15 years. I have been praying over this addiction. I struggle with it. But in Jesus name I have overcome it
