- Lancelot goes krazy when he’s in the car and sees we’re near the Starbucks. And that can only mean one thing... puppuccino!!!!!!
Lancelot was a rescued dog that was going to be put down for being too hyper at a high kill shelter in Arizona. He was found as a stray wandering the streets so not much is known about his background.

This was when we first got lance and where given horrible advice from a toxic person in our life. We stopped using not to long after this video.

I’m so glad to know you’re not using that painful choke collar any more. I was so enjoying this video until I saw that. It was confusing because I could see that you cared about Lance, yet there was this medieval, cruel, painful collar. I am working hard to make those unlawful. Not trying to criticize you, though. I myself have made bad decisions in caring for my animals, believe me.
I hope you're successful in making choke collars unlawful. It's time to move on from those.

I agree, why would anyone put that torture device on a dog?
If you use it properly for training it’s good for training. Which it was only used for that.. when going on walks to teach him how to walk right on a leash.. just didn’t have time to take it off after getting in the car. He doesn’t wear it anymore and hasn’t for a long time. If you watch other videos we have of him you’ll see he doesn’t wear it. Thank you for your concern.

I think lance may be a type of pitbull (american Staffordshire) he looks different gtom bulldogs ive seen or is he a mix?
We aren’t actually sure , some people have said they think he’s mixed with boxed as well. If you look up the Scott type American bulldog he does look a lot like that type and in a group we are in a lot of others looks similiar

Congrats on rescuing sweet Lance❤🐾. The only thing that helps hyper-activity is tons of outdoor exercise. What you and I think is a lot of exercise for a dog by walking them is not even close to enough. They need to "RUN" in a safe area everyday and if he gets enough exercise he will settle down nicely. Please take off the choke collar! Do research on dogs having strokes caused by this kind of neck pressure. He would do much better and more control and safe for him in a body harness❤🐾❤
Thanks for the tips! That is so true about the exercise helping settle them down! If you look at some of our videos after this one, we found this off leash dog park that is HUGE with lakes and a bunch of trails , he loves going to that park!

In spite of their appearance, that's simply not true. Of superior quality, properly fitted and applied, the prong collars do NOT cause them discomfort or pain, and they're nothing like a choke chain. Herm Spranger is an excellent brand with carefully polished ends.They're an excellent TRAINING collar that only needs to be used for a short time if the owner knows what they're doing.

They were going to put him down because he’s too hyper that’d be like putting every child that has ADHD down what kind of excuse is that? There’s a way to tame his excitement through training and discipline that vet sounds like they were pulling a PETA..
I think too cause no one was adopting him and was there for awhile . But I totally agree with you. And once we really got to training him he did turn into a different dog and has been such an amazing dog

Trainers have said if worn and used the right way it isn’t but most people don’t do it right. But, we haven’t used that collar in over 2 years now, this is an older video.

This is from years ago, he hasn’t worn one in years. Also, if done right they are a good training tool, just a lot of people do use them wrong. It did teach him how to walk on a leash and not pull and after a few months of it he never needed it again.

We only used it when we got him cuz we where told to by the shelter for training. But we have stopped using it soon after video cuz he really didn’t respond good to it and was bad

Like arts of acupuncture have its “spots”, there seems to be doggo’s spot where when pressed, they feel like safe and relaxed as if their mother are handling them by that point, like mothers do to their little puppies.The trainer did not explain well.

If used right they can be good for training but a lot of people don't use them properly. Lance actually hasn't warn that collar in over two years or so, he is trained to walk fine on a leash now and doesn't pull so we never have to use that collar again.

This was when we first got him and moved back home. Was only for a few days and don’t use it. We where given vary bad training advice at first. But he is a sweetheart and so dog with our son
