I just finished watching A league of their own and it hurts me to know that they wont continue the season. The story is really good and the character development of all characters are crazy and they decided to call it off. I think we should do sth about it :(
I think you probably should've mention Dyson is not the only alternative love interest for Bo. There's also Tamsin - Valkyre who joins the cast in late seasons and paricipate in enemies to lovers dynamic with Bo. Although... I don't think writers did her justice. In fact they were pretty terrible to her.
Gypsy was so freaking good I am still so pissed about it being cancelled. The writing was so well done and dark. It really was such a psychological thriller in a sense.
gosh, i've seen more than half of these! i'm so gay. glad to know tho that there are still a few good ones out there I can sit down and enjoy on a rainy day, thanks for the list!
Gentleman jack has already a second series out. Unfortunately it’s not been renewed by HBO. Sorry, same with Killing Eve season 4. Is this an old video of yours? I love your channel and subscribed a while ago.
I could have sworn I'd seen this before and was confused, when I saw the only just hours ago posting. I'm like are the videos being taken down? What's going on
I stitched together the multiple parts of this series into one bigger video, so yes, it is an older video! I do this now and again if I have a series of three parts or more to make it easier for people to watch all the parts without searching for it but also because I was on holiday and wanted to still release something!
Anyone know where I can watch El Embarcadero with English subs? I watched most of it a few years back but it got pulled off of TH-cam before I could finish.
The married woman was really good. I really didn’t believe they’d do a second season because the story really completes in season 1.. there was no good way to extend it

Jane the Virgin had a bunch of queer characters including 2 entire lesbian couples, one being an endgame couple that included Rosario Dawson…..How on god’s green earth is that NEVER mentioned?!?!
The problem with the bury your gays trope that's overlooked, is that it has nothing to do with the in-universe death of dying gay characters. It has everything to do with the behind the scenes issues of the gay characters dying (extending to why a show is cancelled). For this reason, many shows/movies people consider part of the bury your gays trope, aren't... and many considered part of the bury your gays trope, actually are. SPOILERS BELOW Examples: _Killing Eve_ is not part of the bury your gays trope. It was not cancelled because the characters were gay and the characters didn't die because of behind the scenes issues. _Buffy the Vampire Slayer_ is not because despite higher up attempts to interphere (the creator threatened his own job if their first kiss didn't happen), that was not why Tara dies. Creatively, both these deaths were warrented. _The Owl House_ is part of the bury your gays trope. Disney cancelled the show because the characters were gay. _Ellen_ also is part of the bury your gays trope, because the show was cancelled by the facts that the in-universe character (and actor) were gay.
I appreciate that you are looking at things in a more nuanced and case by case basis. The trope really is just the death of the queer characters. Even if what makes Bury your Gays problematic stopped being a thing, the definition of the trope would be met, when they die. It's that big picture context where gay characters die disproportionate to heterosexual survival ratio and why that happens that makes it an issue. Please don't conflate cancellation of a series with character death. The big cancellation absolutely sucked, and you're not wrong about some overlapping issues with the causation, but it isn't the same, as the year BYG Clexa year. It started with Hayes code and the pulp books, where sinners couldn't have happy endings. Also why while I enjoy good lesbian villains, well if lesbians are disproportionately villains and villains disproportionately die, then it builds that depressing narrative that even the best works, still cause harm to those with BYG PTSD.
@@bipbop3121 It seems you're not disagreeing with me because of my opinion so much as me looking at it differently, but calling said different definition the trope. I'm tired of good shows and movies being criticized for this trope when the deaths aren't always a bad thing in terms of telling a good story, so looking for the reasons behind the trope existing is my better option. And since what I'm talking about doesn't have a trope name, I didn't know how to reference it. Trufully, if my opinion is or isn't the definitive trope definition... OK. That doesn't matter, but getting people to understand that the bury your gays trope, as most people know it, isn't always bad, is a plus in my book. But it's still just my opinion. People are always welcome to ther own.

Wentworth is a remake of Prisoner Cell Block H. It was a staple for all uk UK students in the 80s

I think the 100 is really amazing since it's a women empowering show
Anyone know where I can watch El Embarcadero with English subs? I watched most of it a few years back but it got pulled off of TH-cam before I could finish.
Could someone tell me from what show is the bottom image of the thumbnail please ?
It's Dickinson :)
I watched Lip Service at least three times. Still love it
I rly liked the married woman but is there any chance season 2 is coming out
I suspect it's not going to happen just by how long it's been since there has been any news about it...
Thank you for the list . Seen all. Someone with new recommendations please write on the comment
I don't think I've ever seen you mention Bad Girls. Not a fan?
Thanks for the vid. ❤
I haven't seen it, except for a few clips, hence its absence. I have referenced it briefly, I think it was the lesbian starter pack series.
@@100percentshipper I was there for Nikki and Helen. Lost interest after they left. I enjoyed the first three seasons. 😊

I had read they were intending to do a season 2, but I haven't heard anything since, so agreed, it looks like they won't.
Gentleman Jack has 2 seasons out, and got sadly cancelled after that.
Why never a mention in the film section of My Days of Mercy? Kate Mara and Elliot(then Ellen) Page are just excellent.
I haven't seen it yet but I did talk about it in a recent video
Special Ops :Lioness
Where to watch the married woman? Is this indian? If so, does it have an indian/alternative title? Tyia
It's on Zee5.com for streaming. Yes it's an Indian show but doesn't have an alternative title.
Hey I am from India and it's an Indian show and a very good one...the name is the same

Kitty Butler playing gay again….
everything now was quite disappointing as it was sold to me as a wlw story it had moments but overall rushed and very light
The moment I saw Killing Eve I was out
Blank the series, Love bully, Show me love, love senior...

Haha, guilty as charged
Bo and Tamsin from Lost Girl are BISEXUAL, don’t erase that fact.
Lost girl is so so gay
