Biggest improvement to accuracy on my 10/22 was the target barrel. I went volquartzen but nowadays would look at Kidd for a barrel.

Looks like your putting some nice stuff on that rig. I sure hope your changing that barrel soon. that other stuff isn't gonna do crap without the accuracy of that barrel..

Outstanding! I like the ARCA rail bag kit looks interesting, looks like a good light weight setup. Nice. What's next?

Really happy with the ARCA rail so far. I'm thinking I will put in the KIDD trigger this weekend, and check for some accuracy gains with the lighter pull. After that I have a new upper, bolt, and springs to put in.

@@road2nrl22 Get a Kidd ultra light 16.5. I have 4 of them & several 18 in & 20 inch KIDD. Skip the threaded option its a waste of $60, there is a Shift in POI with suppressor. Get the KIDD trigger job kit at $130 you get a 1.5 lb trigger.I just did 2 of my old OEM plastic ruger triggers, 1lb 6oz. I couldn't see spending $230 for a single stage KIDD. I have several of the Kidd single and two stage triggers. The prices are going out of site. You can't beat a KIDD barrel. Have fun. I have a Red Gen2 SBI ordered, its getting the Ultra light kidd.

@@marydallas5951 thanks for the tips, unfortunately we can't have suppressors here in Canada, so barrel threads are pretty useless on our 22LRs.
I had already ordered and received the KIDD single stage trigger, so far the build quality is much nicer than the stock Ruger one, and the factory trigger pull is 2lbs before playing around with it, 3lbs lighter than OEM. New video coming Friday with that in it.
I was thinking about building an ultralight 10/22 after this one, as mine's starting to put on the pounds for sure. Something light enough for Steel Challenge or Action Rimfire with a nice red dot and a super light carbon barrel?
I hope you enjoy the SBI chassis, mine's been good to me so far. Have you figured out what buttstock you will be using? I have my heart set on the XLR C-6, but it's still out of stock...

@Mary Dallas how much difference are there in groups from a 16.5 barrel to 18?
