A little south of there may have bigger fish. It's my favorite place on Earth. My first time there was during the late 50s, yeah I'm that old. Areas there haven't changed hardly at all. That's something to remember and look for. It's too big to cover, but for over a century people have tried. As a musky guy, the numbers are down. Maybe MN and MI have more 55in fish now. I love the history of the place. It always rains, honest to god, always rains. Glad another generation is enjoying that incredible place. Don't forget the net.
When I was a kid my grandparents had a German shorthair. My grandpa would take me to one of his friend's place that had a pond stocked with largemouth and big bluegill, sometimes the dog would come with. She'd be in the water waiting for us to throw fish back to try and catch them and she did at least once that I can remember.
I loved this video. The fishing was good, and the catching wasn't great, lol. and when the dog 🐕 ellie, I think, correct me if I'm wrong. That boat jump made me laugh. the camping 🏕 spots are awesome
I was up there the past two weekends. The big crappies bit early morning and the bite tailled off by 9. I still caught them but mostly under 10". I used plastics that Tiger Musky Resort sells. 1.5" flukes in purple/ pearl and then white.
You were not far from where we go camping every year. We stay at Siskos Pine Point Resort which is the next resort if you keep going down CC. We love it up there. I’ve been going there since I was a baby. My grandson is now the 5th generation of my family to go and stay there. Must of been recently there yourself? Those mud bogs come up from the bottom later in the summer. I’ve seen many boats end up beached on them because they don’t know they are there in the dark.
Haha the dog jumping in after the crappie. This was funny!
Its amazing thank you for sharing this with us 👍 im 66 love it fished there alot
