Probly using 5x the fuel too. But he said the bike gets really hot in traffic, perhaps he needs the airflow. Looks like a fairly old R6, I wouldn't be surprised.
And this, people, is why you don't need more than 10hp in the city. The bad boy in the R6 is riding uncomfortably, has a shitty fuel economy and gets there no sooner than the dude in the sweet little Grom.
João Soares But the R6 dude can hit the highway and curvy roads and let that thing fly, while RJ would sit there farting on his grom. Every bike has it's up- and downsides
Great fun upload RJ, you are indeed the master when it comes to city riding! - just be careful out there, hate to see you (or the guy on the R6) come a cropper through having a bit of fun....cheers - TMF
Man, that other biker was acting like a bit of a pleb - blasting between lights like that, and where did it even get him? You caught him up on every single red light. At one point he almost mowed down a pedestrian - sure the idiot was crossing at a really dumb place, but the biker was busy doing a shoulder check and probably didn't even see the person!
Aaaaand here are two very definitely wrong people. RJ didn't charge between lights like a twat in this video. And at least RJ was actually paying attention to the road in front whilst NOT acting like a twat and saw the pedestrians in the first place so could take avoiding action.
David Struve The guy told RJ towards the end that his bike doesn't like traffic and that it gets very hot... Explains why he was taking off so quickly... then again, his bike works harder as he throttles it down the street but I guess it cools his bike down...
Oh yeah ! Long live YZF 125 R ! I'm really happy to see an YZF 125 R on your channel ! The red is really beautifull but i'm prefer my small blue ! ;) Goodnight RJ !
Nice to watch vid as usual. Got my first bike this week, My dad surprised me with a Derbi Senda 50cc 2004 and rode it 160 miles back from wales for me :D sounds lovely. Needs a little bit of work done but we have some time
I ride an msx 125. Great bike for the city. The electronics are not properly watertight though. And they've sent out a recall notice as there's apparently a fuel pump issue.
I want to buy a Honda MSX125 but it struggles to accelerate. Seems like the engine is not breathing enough…? Do you people think the same? And RJ, as always I just love watching those videos. They have a special thing to it. You just sit behind your laptop and enjoy your ride haha
Love the videos RJ. I'm planning on getting my license somewhere next year and I've been looking around the web for a nice beginner bike. My dad tells me it's not worth it to get a 125 because i'll 'get tired of it fast', but I think a 125 would be perfect to start with. I'm 22 at the moment so I'm allowed to get my license for bikes up to 35kW's, but the Grom seems really nice to me, it's light, quite small and perfect for the city. What do you think? Would the Grom fit a starter? If any other riders out there have any opinions or good suggestions, feel free to let me know.
I saw an MX125 the other day, you can't get an understanding of how TINY they really are until you see one in the flesh. Hilariously fun looking little things.
anyone else think that the dude on the Yamaha R6 was filtering a LOT better than RJ even though RJ was on the grom, sorry RJ but you may have met your match ;)
I seen you checking the R125 :) "when you having a little test ride :) " That was some different cans on the R6, he kept you busy RJ I could filter as well Nicely done Thumbs up
I'm thinking about buying a Grom as my first bike here in a year or two... would that be smart ?? they are cheap and seems like a lot of fun and I'm not the tallest guy..
Just a little advice not trying to preach, I’m not sure you’re aware but you can’t cross the double white lines when in a tunnel, you must stay in your lane. I know you’re a competent rider.
In an older video you mentioned that you do a lot of enduro riding. Curious if you would ever post a video that included some footage of your off road riding.
on this vid, the sound of the grom is just a little bit over the top for my taste. do you have a mic installed right on top of the exhaust? i'm usually using headphones on your videos and this time it sounds very "pressurized" (don't know how else to describe it, i'm no native speaker as well) ;)
Awesome meeting you! And thanks for having me on your channel!
Whats that, 2009 yzf?
Martin Notland 09 YZF R125 With a 2013 Engine
+YZFR125Rider You too, awesome helmet cover :)
Lucky guy! Upload more often, I subbed :)
Will try to do so after i get my bike fixed :)
Love how that guy is riding his sports bike like a madman and yet he's not going anywhere faster than a Grom.
Probly using 5x the fuel too. But he said the bike gets really hot in traffic, perhaps he needs the airflow. Looks like a fairly old R6, I wouldn't be surprised.
You can put RJ on a bicycle and he's still gonna be faster than a sportsbike. RJ is just the best rider^^
F-ck_Spyware I suddenly find myself comfortable with the idea of seeing the next daily observations video on a bicycle :D
Just because you are fast does not make up quick.
Hagz500R to be honest the newer r6 rill burn your legs off on summer or in traffic too
And this, people, is why you don't need more than 10hp in the city. The bad boy in the R6 is riding uncomfortably, has a shitty fuel economy and gets there no sooner than the dude in the sweet little Grom.
Wouldn't call 48 shit. For a bike kinda is though.
João Soares But the R6 dude can hit the highway and curvy roads and let that thing fly, while RJ would sit there farting on his grom. Every bike has it's up- and downsides
@@valpodesideromontoya2097 shut up bruv
The R6 driver had no idea he was up against the legendary RJ. Loved it. Laughed all the way through.
Great fun upload RJ, you are indeed the master when it comes to city riding! - just be careful out there, hate to see you (or the guy on the R6) come a cropper through having a bit of fun....cheers - TMF
That was like some GTA mission Looool
That triple exhaust though on the r6
quadrouple :D
something similar to the toce quad pipes?
It's the old Blue Flame system they made back in the day for the R6 / R1.
Sweet viddy man :D crazy how fast you can split lanes :D
@Aryan Fabian your gf has a cool instagram, dude
RJ at his best destroying the sports bike on a 125cc! 👏
What a top bloke!! "innit"
Both of you put on a good show, not a competition, but a show.
3:55 pedestrians argh -_- why cant they inspect before crossing!
He even did wheelies in the traffic. 2:50
Absolutely a silly rider
David Struve The guy told RJ towards the end that his bike doesn't like traffic and that it gets very hot... Explains why he was taking off so quickly... then again, his bike works harder as he throttles it down the street but I guess it cools his bike down...
XCo Gamin Nice catch, I didn't even notice that
Bikers are so awesome. I always meet someone else who's so enthusiastic to talk bikes, I love it.
Love RJ's Accidental Rides!! They are the best!
It's the skill of the rider Not the Bike !!
Mate you are so genuine, always praising people who have slightly older, to some inferior bikes to yourself!
Jesus Christ, what exhaust do you have on that? Sounds amazing!
Your exhaust and the r6 sounded sick! I love how the r6 has a tail exhaust 😍
Oh man, that Akra feels like it's vibrating inside my very brain!
And I love it
*I still love you*
That grom looks like alot of fun! Great video RJ!
Oh yeah ! Long live YZF 125 R ! I'm really happy to see an YZF 125 R on your channel !
The red is really beautifull but i'm prefer my small blue ! ;)
Goodnight RJ !
Haha yes, blue are better!
Epic filter skills as usual RJ *THUMPS UP*
2:30 is the best part
LOL thanks!
Fair play to you not showing his reg. Happy new year. Jon from Ireland Dublin....
Man that was a sick sounding bike. Merry Xmas RJ
love your vids RJ, they are probably the best motorcycle videos on youtube
Nice to watch vid as usual.
Got my first bike this week, My dad surprised me with a Derbi Senda 50cc 2004 and rode it 160 miles back from wales for me :D sounds lovely. Needs a little bit of work done but we have some time
That was better than an action movie, bloody well done!
You proved it's not the bike but the rider . Your GROM out did the guy on the R6 most of the ride , way to go RJ .
Keep on the 125's videos! Greetings from Argentina!
it is so nice to see that they both actually appreciate each other's ride~! (Y)
RJ holding the crown as filtering master!
Fun Fun Fun !!!
Nice Share RJ
;)
Nice ride!
I love these accidental rides. Stay safe.
I ride an msx 125. Great bike for the city. The electronics are not properly watertight though. And they've sent out a recall notice as there's apparently a fuel pump issue.
3:53 that was pretty dangerous man... They should have looked twice.
Man, Grom sounds great!
And fantastic helmet!
I thought he'd lost you on Haymarket. I didn't even realise you'd passed him until he pulled up after you at the lights!
Great fun!! A bit like a video game, man you get through so quick :) Ride safe sir.
Looks like soo much fun!!! Rippin through the streets!
Grom love it :) certainly the business in town!
I like his stealth like protective gear. Kevlar socks and pumps!
I love your Bikes & Videos. Cant wait to see more every Week/Month
2:39"Hail Hydra"
That Honda 125 following that R6... You looked like me with my 1.2L mk1 Clio following some bimmers and mercs and not letting them go ^_^
Great video again RJ!
Never heard a better sounding grom.
i love the Honda Grom 125.... amazing little bike
You guys know how to have fun! My kind of riding great video
RJ Road runner ,meep meep :P hope you're having a good holiday RJ. all the best for the new year bud :)
3:57 Man the potholes and dips in that road are terrifying, I was riding at walking pace to avoid them the other day.
th-cam.com/video/Lr8n5PDcSGQ/w-d-xo.html

Can you do a swipe-by engine sound on your Honda MSX 125 (Grom)? Sound awesome anyway man.

Haha, this was a very entertaining video, RJ! Really makes me want to get a motorcycle license :).
awsomeness ..gota love the grom in london..its so much more fun when there is traffic to play in!! :)
Love your riding style RJ :)
Great driving! You see the opportunities and seize them! Brilliant! :)
I want to buy a Honda MSX125 but it struggles to accelerate. Seems like the engine is not breathing enough…? Do you people think the same?
And RJ, as always I just love watching those videos. They have a special thing to it. You just sit behind your laptop and enjoy your ride haha
The more a watch and learn about the GROM I want one :D
When this biker appeard, RJ competition mode ON, We can see how fast, fastest than normal, RJ filters cars and pedestrians ;d thats insane man! :)
Hey RJ, my videos lose a lot of quality once uploaded on youtube, but yours seem to keep their original quality. How do you achieve that?
Thanks!
Mad riding skills RJ
Your bike really is quite loud innit. It's a surprise that people still walk out in front of you like they can't hear you coming.
Crossing solid white lines big no no,a lot of tunnels now have cameras at each end to stop people changing lanes in the tunnels
Love the videos RJ. I'm planning on getting my license somewhere next year and I've been looking around the web for a nice beginner bike. My dad tells me it's not worth it to get a 125 because i'll 'get tired of it fast', but I think a 125 would be perfect to start with.

So true!
YZFR125Rider
Would you or your 2010 R125 mate happen to of been on the R125 forum?
John Smith Yeah, I am
YZFR125Rider
I was one of the moderators there before it died.
Miss my little R125, they're good bikes.
John Smith Yeah it's dead now. It used to be good.
why does his grom sound so fking badass wtf
Love the bike's sound! Makes it sound like a little beast. What do I need to get to make mine sound like that? :)
anyone else think that the dude on the Yamaha R6 was filtering a LOT better than RJ even though RJ was on the grom, sorry RJ but you may have met your match ;)
even tho its not a competition i do have to agree that guy was smooth as fuq
I didn't happen to notice RJ on the grom
He wasn't filtering a lot better than RJ, he was filtering as well as RJ :D
he was just being hard on the throttle. Honestly looking at him filtering created some mixed feelings. He was riding to agresive in my opinion.
Stefan O.
My thoughts exactly. All he was accomplishing was getting to the red light faster!
I seen you checking the R125 :) "when you having a little test ride :) "
That was some different cans on the R6, he kept you busy RJ I could filter as well
Nicely done
Thumbs up
i've got a schooltrip to london in May for 4 days, I hope I'll see you (:
Awesome sounding bike!
Lol that helmet tho
Seems like the first time I've seen an R6 in one of your videos o.O
Hey guy, you are very best driver in motorbike.
LIKE to your channel and a lot of satisfied km.
R6 amazing engine sound 😍
The R6 guy is really good driver and also a bit crazy.
Elmo wins! :-D
I always win ! :D
I'm thinking about buying a Grom as my first bike here in a year or two... would that be smart ?? they are cheap and seems like a lot of fun and I'm not the tallest guy..
honda grom is a clear winner in traffic :) nice RJ :)
"I wish that pesky mosquito would stop buzzing around me. Oh it's RJ, better have a chat then."
are you allowed to cross the double white line in the tunnel? and are you allowed to go on the wrong side of the road?
Just a little advice not trying to preach, I’m not sure you’re aware but you can’t cross the double white lines when in a tunnel, you must stay in your lane. I know you’re a competent rider.
What is the minimum temperature in what you are able to ride your bike without any fear of skid or crash due to low adhesion?
Well done RJ.
I love how he just creeps to the side and he's like "that bike's sick man" lol
Nice ride. Nice guy.
In an older video you mentioned that you do a lot of enduro riding. Curious if you would ever post a video that included some footage of your off road riding.
He do has some off road riding videos on his channel. Check it.
Go on the play list an look for the morroco tour..
He has 2 playlists of enduro riding in Morocco...
Troy A stonesie81 ...thanks! Will check it out.
Must be so slow using a car over a bike there, how long does it usually take to get from one side of the city to the other?
Nooo way you racing him eh RJ?? Not you eh???
From sounds awesome btw.
What exhaust do you have on that man? Sounds great
wow how do you ride without having headache after?
on this vid, the sound of the grom is just a little bit over the top for my taste. do you have a mic installed right on top of the exhaust? i'm usually using headphones on your videos and this time it sounds very "pressurized" (don't know how else to describe it, i'm no native speaker as well) ;)
external microphone in his jacket !
RJ remains the undisputed King of Filtering.
