- Hi friends! I hope you enjoy this video of me showing you how I wax my eyebrows and upper lip at home in 2020. I used the Tress Wellness Wax Warmer on Amazon and the Silver Tourmaline Wax by Satin Smooth. In this video, I also fill in my eyebrows so you can see how they look with no product versus with products. Once you get the hang of it, It’s quick and easy to do and will save you time, money, and months of regrowth due to a bad wax job. Disclaimer: I’m not a professional. I’m just a girl showing you how I wax my own eyebrows and upper lip at home.

You did a great job. Your brows look beautiful! I have done this for professionally for 30 years. 2 tips. Put a little dusting of baby powder on the areas you wax. The powder makes the wax stick better to the hair and it keeps it from sticking to the skin. If you have ever ripped off a little skin , you will never skip this step. Waxing makes the blood rise to the surface just under the skin so immediately after pulling the hair out put pressure on the area with your fingers for about 10 seconds. It keeps it from getting so red and stops the stinging. Also after I am all finished I always put a little neosporin on the area for about an hour. It just heals everything faster. But this step is not necessary. But you did a beautiful job!

Do you put the powder on the skin before the wax or on top of the wax before you put on the wax strip?
@@candaceevans2212 I dust it on very dry, not moist or sweaty, skin with a small make up brush before the wax. I hope this helps.

This video was a life saver! lol. I have thick eyebrows and all the money I spend to get them wax adds up, plus sometimes the person will mess up and I have to let them grow out in hopes that the next visit will get better. It's about time I start waxing my own eyebrows. Thank you for this video.
OMGGGGGGGGG you totally live my life! I have SUPER thick eyebrows and I will let them grow in, go get them waxed and the heffa ALWAYS messes them up. I bought a wax warmer off Amazon and its just been sitting... Its time for me to figure this out, I am tried of folks messing me up!

Sometimes when I wax it has to much wax an it won’t stick as well, how do you no how much wax to put on? Also I have very thick hair an a lot of the times it don’t pull it all out an I end up having to pluck it anyways, so am I not Pullin hard enough or is it ripping the hair instead of pulling it out completely?

I didn't use the wax that came with the kit! It was a soft wax I was using 😊
You can always use petroleum jelly on your brows if youre not confident enough to keep the wax from sticking

hair starts growing back after a week for me!
It varies per person but personally for me to keep up with it, when I wax I wax once or twice a month and I’m good 😊
