Good video, I'm on day 2 and have done pretty much these things without a guide hehe and with a lot of farming/crafting. I will now do the dungeon strat to get my stats up.
This guide is not good, solo dungeons are trash, corrupted dungeons are hard for beginners, you don't really need the tomes of insight or to gather stone, you can just get the fame and silver pretty quickly from killing open world mobs in safe zones, the guide is also outdated as the mage cowl got reworked and doesn't have the poison ability anymore, I suggest changing it for a mercenary hood or a defensive item like soldier or guardian helmet. If you are a new player do NOT follow this guide it will be a bad and confusing start to the game.
i don't think the mobile reward is the same anymore.. i tried doing the mobile reward and claimed the item but the item i claimed and used didn't allow me to use the tier 3 items..
At least in RuneScape there is a feel of story progression, so basically after you end the tutorial you grind mindless. No story, no NPC's Quest just walk and grind. Now i started to remember why in all these years i never wanted to play this game. ( Too bad cause the start is good then the mass repetition begins, if you want me to play a game where it feels like a choir you must pay me; boring and uncreative and they call it "Sandbox". )
You just choose armor based in the abilities and passive bonuses, so you don't have to pick all of the same armor type, the main piece of armor is the chest one and it's the one that gives the most passive bonuses (cloth being high damage low defense, plates being high defense low damage and hide being medium defense and damage) , the other two pieces are usually chosen based in their abilities because they don't have passive bonuses. He just chose a mercenary jacket (hide, medium damage and defense) with a life stealing ability a cloth helmet that has a damage dealing ability and plate boots with a good mobility ability, he mixed and matched to create a build that is as balanced as possible having damage, defense/sustain and movement.

There is a destiny skill tree where you pick a direction on where to go from very early on. You can choose to go for trade craft or some combat styles. Any real guide would simply explain the basic various options from the start. And how it all works. Do not follow this guide. It's absolute BS. It seems more like a speedrunner type guide meaning not at all valid if you're new. Or guide for power leveling for brainless late gamers. This is a terrible guide if you're new to the game. TLDR - Title and start of video says welcome to guide for beginners. Then host says how to get to tier 8 really quickly. Which means it's not a guide for beginners. It's a guide for alt characters to fast level. A beginner guide will explain basic concepts and progression. Not how to get high tier quickly.
@@rehhouari Do not follow anything in this video. Start at tutorial island. Don't buy any gear from marketplace. Craft what you need, and try to level up your Destiny Tree to Journeyman refining and toolmaking. As well as journeyman in the combat craft you need. There's 3 - warrior, hunter, mage. So make sure you unlock whichever ones you plan to use. The last tutorial quest will have a part to signal the boat to go to the mainland. Do not go onto the boat. Go back to the Cove market, and buy as many mules as you can carry. They are $3 each. But you can sell them for thousands on the mainland. The starting town of each region in the mainland is the Cross. When you get to the Cross, talk to the NPC greeting you. He will send you to the commander. He will have quests you can do. There is exploration, combat, and gathering quest. Make sure you complete those. The combat quests will give you lots of rewards. You will get to tier 4 no problem. There is a big city capital in each region. You don't really need to go there much. Mainly if their trade is better. But keep all you stuff at the Cross until you have unlocked all the tier 4 crafting specializations you need. Then you will have to migrate to the city because Cross cannot craft past tier 3. At the capital, there are no system crafting vendors. They are all tier 8 user vendors that you need to pay to craft tier 4 and above. Also, you cannot craft a mount initially. You need an island to unlock farming, animal traming, etc before you may craft a mount. You have to buy a mount. Make sure you do not type in the mount you want to buy because you might find a non-mount version of the animal. Go to the category section at the top of the search, and use the dropdown to find a mount. You can probably get an ox before migrating from the cross to the capital to carry all your stuff. To make alot of money, there is a transport service in each city. It allows you to teleport to any city you have been to. But the teleportation fee will be higher than the value of anything you're carrying. However, you can teleport for free if you're completely naked. This will allow you to go to other cities to check prices in their auction house. Buy something for cheap at your home auction house, and transport it to the other city to sell it. Each capital has a refining bonus seen on the top right when you open the local map. So it's good to buy raw resources, then decide where to refine. Then sell, or use to craft something to sell.
