Thank you, brother. Peace be with you too. I also appreciate your respectful tone. Our goal is only to better ourselves as Muslims at the end of the day. I think what goes more in line with what you said is the conditions of being a believer or mumin which is a higher level of righteousness. Yes, a believer wouldn’t commit any of the major sins I believe.

Peace be with you. Thank you, brother. Based on my research, I don’t believe that Muslims who sin are not Muslims so long as they don’t leave the prayer. I do believe that I’m a Muslim though I sin but repent as often as possible. The deviant group known as Karajites believe that Muslims who sin are disbelievers. Also, God can forgive what is lesser than Idolatry Shirk to whoever He wills as He says in the Quran. So based on my research, yes one can still be a Muslim if they commit sin and even in our history, many Muslims used to commit sins but they never left the prayer.
Peace be with you. If somebody continually sins, then again, there are nuances. Repeating a sin is evil but does it nullify one’s Islam? The answer is no. The person can become an open sinner, a defiantly disobedient person or fasiq in Arabic but that’s not the same as a disbeliever kafir. Would they go to Heaven? I think that’s a completely different question, brother. Judgement is from Allah but if I can venture a guess, I would say that somebody who sins if they haven’t repented will be in Hell temporarily but then will emerge it as opposed to the disbelievers who will reside therein eternally. There’s a Narration Hadith about it actually about those who had a mustard seed amount of faith or eeman who will be taken out of the Fire. I think your example doesn’t apply in all situations as Allah can forgive some sins. However, when somebody is wronged, they can ask Allah to get their rights back on the Day of Judgement and Allah is The Most Just so He can exact justice that the oppressed did not get to have in the worldly life. I would recommend seeking knowledge because this is a very big important topic. We can’t label people as disbelievers even if they sin unless the conditions are met, if they seek it to make it lawful. I think if somebody who’s not a Muslim hears those words, that might discourage them to embrace the faith as they might feel too imperfect which is exactly why we need Islam because we are all imperfect and need guidance or hudah. Yes, Muslims are ordered not to sin but if they do, they don’t become disbelievers kuffar unless the conditions are met. Brother, making Muslims who commit sins as disbelievers is what the deviant group known as the Karajites or Khawarij do and they’re the dogs of the Hellfire, may Allah protect us from their evil.
I will respectfully disagree with you in this instance. To me who carries the label is irrelevant since the label (Muslim) has lost its original meaning. Linguistically it would be impossible to be a "Muslim" and disobey at the same time because the very word implies obedience through submission. In any case what really matters is who goes to heaven and who goes to hell and the Quran is very clear on that as it's clear on whose repentance is accepted. I know the video is long but I have listed all the Quranic verses on the matter. You should watch it in its entirety. A Muslim who is a fasiq isn't labeled a kuffar in the Quran anyway. The label used for such people is a munafiq which is even worse than a kuffar. If you believe that I can kill, steal, commit zina, and live an evil life and all I have to do is pray and claim a label of a muslim and I will enter heaven eventually then I would strongly disagree in light of what the Quran says. The whole temporary fire concept was brought up by Jews and condemned in the Quran anyway. It is unfortunate we disagree but such is life. I still appreciate your respectful tone and I'm trying to achieve the same tone as not to offend. Peace be with you.

Aleykum salaam. So do you believe i can kill someone every week unjustly and still go to heaven as long as I pray?
