What is interesting is that I have the 10mm, 7mm, 5mm and 3.5mm Pentax XW you mention in your talk, and to me they are also superb eyepieces. Instead of the 14mm I have the TeleVue 13mm Ethos, the only very wide I have and to tell you the true I love it, but I'm not planning to buy another super wide. The Pentaxes are super comfortable. I also have the Panoptics 35mm and the old, discontinued 22mm. My only telescope is an Astrophysics 130mm f6.0 Starfire EDFS which I bought when I had money, now I'm retired and enjoying it. By the way, I have the original book by Hartung and also the second edition by David Malin & David J. Frew.
